#Slower movement during sniper scoping
57 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Thats literally a feature. (Slower move speed i mean not the jump)
There is literally a parameter in weapon itself called movement multiplier in scope.
This is not a bug
2 questions:
- Why is it not a bug?
- What's the point of this artificial limitation in gameplay which didn't exist in original hd?
Fusion is not only a compilation of all (well most) games but includes some visual/performance upgrades and some gameplay rebalance.
All of this had bigger plans but in the end Fusion was abounded.
Bug is a programming error or flaw causing unintended behavior.
While slow move speed while in scope is not an error its a editable parameter in a weapon.
Hell you can even make it so that when you are in scope you are moving faster if you want it to.
Then why they made this change in the first place? It's not call of duty, after all
Im not a game dev.
Im not making balance decisions.
Still, this change doesn't make any sense, when it didn't exist in original hd games
There’s a mod in workshop that fixes this
Why you answering here then? These bug reports are for Croteam only
But realistically this change dosent bother me
Even if it don’t make sense
There’s not many moments where you would realistically stay scoped in and run around
Are you work in Croteam? Why answering instead them?
Yes I am thee john croteam
It can bother hundreds of thousands of game owners, didn't you thought about that?
Yes
Which is why I said there’s a mod in workshop that takes away the slowdown when scoped
It cant fix vanilla game, you know it
I know
These bug reports are for vanilla version of the game
Not true.
I asked The Law and it includes editor. Modding bugs. (not maps)

Vanilla fixes applies to modded as well. It's obvious
Ragebait again?
I found the reason.
In HD sniper doesn't have movement multiplier in scope.
SS3 added movement multiplier in scope param into sniper weapon type with default value of 0.6 (-40% to your movement speed).
So it was indirect change.
This section implied for bug reports only, better keep it spam free. It's not for casual chat with opinions about which bugs are important and which are not, and talk nonsense like your message. You can use https://discord.com/channels/464411560563965953/464416336949542922 for example for all this
it's not a bug
for ppl, who think that's not a balance feature...
Cursed thread
Thread is dope
if it's wasn't in original game - it's a bug?
well, then additional attack for enemies on Hard+ and reloading in sprint in BFE are also bugs?
that's bad logic
if you don't like this balance features, you still can play original games
and if it's not a bug, why it's in the thread for bug reporting?
it's not thread about your ideas for balancing or stuff, it's about broken stuff.
Fusion has a huuuuuuge collection of bugs (literally), but by some reason ppl ignoring it for reporting and making threads with ragebaits like this.
First, this topic is about HD, not bfe. Second, where else you offer to question doubtful gameplay changes?
Since when questioning changes become "ragebait"? With such attitude you didn't go far from copium from here

And how many times do I have to say: all I do is report bugs I found and show them. Being minor does not mean it's not needed to fix. Especially when there are many of them.
Fix major bugs first, after - minor ones. According to your and people like you speeches, feels like you are ones who will be put in position to make these patches, which of course is not true. Then what are you so worry about?
No, you just still haven't realized that some of your bug reports aren't really bug reports, but rather things that don't fit into your worldview. And those aren't bugs, its like "I'm an artist, that's how I see it. You all wrong, gtfo"
Man, if you have a lota issues with game, why wouldn't you just make some speadsheet, there you documented every single mistake with references. You can even color code: like red will be major game breaking issues, blue will be some random visual issues and green some thing like this there you can't tell isn't it bug or just feature. And just share link to it within one bug report, just keep it update whenever new issue you may find or some issues has been solved. This make things a bit easier.
Looks like you still don't get what I was talking about here

read it once again and cut your statements about "subjective" stuff
Too late for that
the whole #1435325382894161920 is this speadsheet you are talking about
Besides, considering what you were saying here

you should've learn what I do by now
@jagged laurel and what are you trying to say by that?
I see. You ain't got any arguments to prove your point and do "bubububu" like a child
@main mist when are you going to bug report not working pump on single shotgun in HD and classics?
If you're so concerned, do it yourself
lol
