I'm using Windows and there's no selection for JavaScript when I create a new file.

I'm not sure if there's a certain software I need to install?

There should be a setting somewhere to disable "hide extensions for known file types" or something, then it should allow you to rename a text file to .js

Only problem is it's still not giving me the option to create a Javascript file extension.

Downloaded Visual Studio Code so I'm probably going to import all of the coding I've done in Notepad to that software.
