If you are playing on android
Just go the app info and clear data and then login into the game again

it's not game ads that are removed but the system that creates inbound ads that should be removed on game day. unsettling. The most annoying ads are those that come on suddenly and force you to view and take time to get rid of them. this game or ad market.

I could hardly watch any ad. The suggested workaround (webview) did not help. What seems to help for me, is connecting to a VPN before starting the game. No country change, just slightly slower internet connection, due to vpn overhead and routing. When I do that the game hardly crashes when watching ads. I am still getting the same ads as before (the few I could watch, without game crashes).

If like me you were getting this annoying Mergest Kingdom 48 seconds ad pop-up every time then here is how to reduce it to 30 seconds by going to Settings, Game Info and click on the Cookies Policy tab then untick all the ads/marketing research in the cookies section and view partners. REstarting the entire app seems to do nothing to remedy the issue, but playing a race in something else sometimes can result it a different ad that isn't broke being picked. Considering your team is focused on ads rather than gameplay thus annoying your customers ..... Start giving during the race. Ads at 50% to 90% race distance (for top 3) in MP would be new low for GL. Think about it. It will annoy you customers more and get you more money.... Mission accomplished.

Absolutely horrible experience with ads on Windows. Majority of the time it won't even appear and keep loading like show in the screenshot when you press on ad. Sometimes, ad** stops playing **the video somewhere in between of video. Sometimes , tickets from ad won't ad up untill you restart the game app. Please fix these annoying problems with ads. @bright bolt
