but the real timer rounds more precise than that

the times you see are just rounded

meaning you finished so close that the rounding system showed the same rounded number, even though the real numbers may have been slightly different

(or in the rare event where you actually tie, I think it's either a coin flip or a matter of internet connection.)

for example say the timer only showed whole numbers. pretend your opponent finished with a time of 59.3 seconds and you finished with a time of 59.4 seconds, slightly behind him.
