You asked about affordable s class cars right? The best one I can recommend is the lykan. Just play the s class event thingy every friday and you have one guaranteed bp for it if you play with the centenario. It's a great car it was the one i used the most in LL before i got the trion. Oh and also when you get the fxx k go for the Trion.

According to me, buying packs in a9 is always going to give u something that helps u progress in game
Even if a specific car pack contains things u dont need then there's tc
And tc's are always useful unless u hv completedthe game 100%
