I am almost certain, it looks like it follows SE format, so for example, the last stage in an SE opens after a certain amount of time (for this hunt, after 7 days), and while it is open the previous stages are still open.

Even if we have the extra time, if you really want to max and/or unlock the car, do not relax too much, it is quite a grind.
