when waking up the switch in handheld mode, and reentering an existing session of Asphalt 9, the game has to sort of reload. this is fine, but about half the time, the screen glitches... its like the entire display is shifted up by half the screen. so the bottom of the image starts in the middle of the screen and goes up from there, resulting in the bottom of the screen displaying black, and the top the bottom half of the image.

Yes. I played with my brother recently and it was doing it. Apparently it's been that way for a very long time so I do not expect it to ever get fixed. I suggest if you want to play spit screen with someone, don't choose Caribbean.

Also I might as well point out the way you select cars in split screen is extremely clunky. Only way to filter by class is by making it so all the players can only use that class. You can only select from right to left and there's no way to open up the garage to select a specific car. It can be extremely difficult just find a specific car. They're in a completey random order as well.

Did you buy the bundle pass straight away or only after you did a couple missions first? Pass gives 10% bonus to legend points if you did all 10 without pass you would get few houndred points less

Yeah I know. There is a nitro glitch in it. When you’re using nitro the Color shows up on lower screen. Also the map changed and shifts out of place so it’s all messed up. Can barely see anything lol

1,Make sure there is enough storage where you have the game installed internal or SDcard for caching at least over 2GB
2, Archive the game and download it again.
Looks more like a memory issue or corruption to me. I hope it helps figure it out.

If you have all the millestones cars there is little incentive to grind that much to get to legend. I assume by changing the cars they expect to renew the interest but beside the Fenyr any player who started in the last 2 years will have all the car . Maybe a early review of mp2 changes:
Until yesterday i was located in Elite under the top20 players and tried to farm series score while playing normal. With the changes smaller lobbies are at least playable. But even with it i couldn't do more than 350-400 score per day. Times 7 it isn't enough to reach those 3k maximum series score.

I am now at 1.5k score and have no chance to claim that epic, but i decided to demote myself to gold or even silver because there you get lobbies of 8 more constantly. So basically what happend now is that you encourage to NOT play for a good leaderboard result, but "bully" weaker players in lower leagues.

So what i recommend: Adjust the points you get from a race! Like mp1, increase points in higher leagues with same lobby size. Sadly this is the 2nd Mp2 season i won't even get near the 3k series score.

Besides: Shouldn't be mp2 designed to be easily doable? With an easy to claim epic import part you can lure more players to go for a car since with the eip they can gold it much faster. So i don't understand what happend that mp2 became this bad.

Good morning everybody. I have a problem with legend pass episode 5. I have to win 15 times in multiplayer with Acura. Since I checked the numbers, I won at least 3 times with the normal Acura 2017. But the counter keeps showing 2/15, which I already got, when I checked the first time. I know of a club mate, who also won with the normal Acura and his wins count for this achievement.

Edit: Never seen it say I have a bad connection unless the game gets a sudden big frame rate drop.
My brother has a better connection than I do. No noise on the line ect or packet loss yet I get a connection notice sometimes when playing the game at his house which makes wonder what route it takes to get to the server. I feel like that’s the problem

dns is working, cleared the cache on the recursive resolver and I see it working just fine with no NX domains

any lingering tcp connections in weird states should of been reseted by a device reset given I have a low tcp keepalive limit

the internet provider is fine, the bgp sessions to the upstreams are ok

so, the only 2 problems remaining are: a bug in the software, caused by a deployment ... maybe a regression ? or just a deployment...unfinished..broken?

rather than rebooting random stuff without understanding what is wrong, I take it logically.

and in this situation, the only problem is this particular software, everything else is green in the monitoring solutions.

so, I'd rather not reboot stuff that might break other stuff for people that are working now.

reboot for the sake of reboot is never a good solution in my case.

When an update or mini/hotpatch occurs or event changes, pictures do not download. Half my game ends up like this by the end of a season and during a new season I’d say nearly half of the images are missing and unable to download. If it is left longer it gets much worse.
Can this please be fixed. It should not be down to the user to solve by reinstalling the game.

Edit: I know I’m not the only one as my Nephew also plays the game and the same issue is present on his system.

Multiplayer league mixing is a real issue that needs addressing. I get there is a need, but as it stands it is grossly unfair. Limit the higher classes to a 1:4 ratio with the lower leagues.

About half my races the last two days have been me vs only S class legend league cars, I've lost 100s of points and it has prevented me getting into platinum. My A class car with a top speed of 360kmh vs the S class with over 400kmh is a grossly unfair mismatch.

It's not related to people reaching any league or whatnot, it's about the play experience of people in lower leagues getting obliterated by players in high leagues. just for clarification, GL switch is tied with global schedule, they cant do much more than wait, notification fix is coming on some next patch, they cant just cherry pick this fix and set it done, it comes all with a bundle, and for the lag issues, i think it started when GL added 2 updates in 1, i think is not 100% optimized to make it 2 in 1

PD: anyway, the motor graphics should be independent from updates, so i dont really know

PD2: break from global, i know Joe is trying to. Will make switch suggestion not useless, people not expecting every single update/change global made so far, no need to over explain content that didnt appear on global, more freedom, better experience for the players as updates would have been adapated to switch player base aka, no copy-paste, people from global might try new exclusive content on switch.. etc.. etc...

Those fps are happening more than a year not just 6 months. They were never fixed and the issue was never adressed. And yes sometimes we got some bonus fps drops on different tracks, but those fps issue in Midwest and Osaka always remained unsolved. It would be really nice if we finally get some feedback from developers. This is racing game after all and stable fps are crucial.

Yea this sort of glitch happened with me on Osaka tracks twice once through garage and once off the road with no ramp

when you purchase a pack and got 0 bps from it, while other people getting +20 bps, great, felt scammed

i think it was bugged because i didnt recieve the items right after the purchase, i needed to restart the game in order to get the items, this is happening more often.. just before the pack opening the game freezed for 2 seconds

That’s maybe the problem, two updates ago there was a glitch on the promoted members. Talk to your leader, leave the club, get back in the club and get promoted again and it should work out
