Yea this KD system isnt going to work out,literally was driving behind a corvette and i just bumped him and got KDed. I dont know how hard or diffcult it is to remove this and the funny thing is that on a recent dev chat on global,a dev talked about this same KD system and how horrible the outcome of it was and had to be removed. So it would be nice to remove all these experimental stuff in the future cuz global players and switch player share the same interests when it comes to multiplayer

This KD system doesn't work and my game has crashed "due to a software error" 6 times within 90 minutes. This has resulted in loss of fuel and tickets.

I also wonder why MP1 has been nerfed into a far more opaque system. I would rather like to see the old system return, with the new reward system if Gameloft feels that we need it.

I would also like to ask why this system was rolled out to the Switch when it was removed from Global at the next update due to poor feedback from the players?

Interesting issue I've never seen before. I got booted from a daily race with the notice that my account logged in from another device. I definitely only have one switch and as far as I can tell my account wasn't hacked or anything. Was able to jump right back in and keep racing but lost the gas. Anyone else seen this before?

I just came here to ask is this universal with players seeing far worse performance and connection issues since the patch? Don't think I've seen a race run yet which wasn't decided by the connection status of me or other racers or just game performance (frame rate) dropping to where car becomes nearly uncontrollable. 😦
Oh I also got that bug a few got where the Legend pass purchase froze the game, had to close game and reopening it then gave the pass when I just clicked on "purchase" after reopening it. Kinda scary

Guessing it's unintentional but in the menu if you click on controls and Tap to steer the game perfectly allows you to do this while the Switch is docked, leads to a rather difficult experience when you would go into a race..... unless it works with touch screen TV's! But yeah, I think it would be best if this option was maybe greyed out or would default back to joycon controls while the switch is docked?

I crashed 3 mp races in a row today. But the catch is, I actually got an error code in all 3 times. After the 1st 2 crashes I checked if there's any corrupted data, which there was none, and then I cleared cache storage and went on the 3rd race, which also lead to a crash. The error code is 2002-2096

What is going on with this? And how can I fix it? This is just ruining every single race I have

Gameloft must be the only company that makes their customers pay for their own incompetence and failures, crashing and disconnections, taking points, gas and nerves out of the drivers. Fix it, you know when a disconnection has happened, don’t freaking take points and gas out!! If you don’t address this, I’ll stop spending a single cent in this game.

There needs to be some sort of re-work or communication to let us know what’s gonna happen with MP after the update. It’s a new update with new MP mechanics/scoring, which is fresh. But it’s not fair to implement a point system that can deduct up to 60(?) points due to a simple disconnect or game error. Something needs to be fixed: either the constant crashing, or the punishing point system. 2 big issues that can fuel off of each other to make the issue even more unbearable.

It's a feature not an issue, it's called the frustration algorithm. When a players do some chain wins he will naturally stop playing. To make you play the maximum of time, they will start putting you in free lose lobbies, i.e lobbies where you will almost always lose points, and with the SW rule there is high probability to get KD. So you will be in a circle between climbing slowly then dropping and so on. Everything in this update was made for that

It improved in the way that 360's wasn't random because they were now immune towards each other if done simultaneously.
SW kd required a new strategy for offense and defense, you had to adapt.

@shy prairie, I’m very curious to know why it’s been so hard for developers to debug & fix game crashes. Every crash generates a “crash report” with a stackshot from SwitchOS indicating the exact code location that triggered the crash (after symbolication). I’m very very positive that Nintendo has already given an API in their NDI dev kit (pretty common for any legit platform) to upload these crash logs to GL’s servers for debugging. Given the crazy # of crashes everyone sees, there should be enough samples that finding bugs shouldn’t be a needle in the haystack anymore if there’s at least basic crash reporting built into the game.

Yeah, it shouldn’t be that hard or crazy a bug to take this long. Even if there’s no telemetry of crash trace data, the devs themselves must be hitting these crashes on their device so they can extract the logs manually from the Switch and debug.

I was in the middle of a Grand Prix qualifier race (2 of 3) and it exited to home screen. I've never had that before, but it's one of my biggest fears... a crash in the middle of a GP race. How do I get that back?

Second, I get the random crashes, introduced in Lamborghini update, which stars and stripes did not fix. I worked with support best I could trying many different things to no success. I did later realize it only crashes when docked, which is 95% for me. Crashes were much worse 2 months ago, but come on GameLoft. Give us some reliability love 💘.

I’d recommend resetting the software when changing between mp and other game modes. Yes it’s tedious, can also be a little annoying but I’ve found it reduces the risk of a crash. Is it 100% crash proof? No, but the risk is lower and I’ve found it crashes less frequently.

That is probably the best we can do. I thought maybe hardware running hotter in 1080p mode when docked, so blow a fan at it. Didn't try it yet. Luckily, my last attempt at Q1 I got a great time so I am sure I will qualify.

Hi stephany, this is not an issue but a point of view. Mp1 was before the place to use our s class car, it was easy to go there and we had fun using them. In the new mp1, it s way to hard to go there. They are maybe only 200 300 people there after 1 week. And even when you reached it, you can be demote. What the point to pay the good cars and use them only in the expert race. I think you should reduce the legend level to 1500. Please report to the team. Thanks

Hi stephany ,, we liked the new MP and the changes for how you get the loots just we confused in how we calculate the points and you finish in league for example platinums and next day you see your self demoted to gold … plus higher cars play with you in same league … my clans players feel bad about it cause the big confuse is they don’t know how to keep up competing with it especially when you play in a league and 4 to 3 players has cars from league higher than you .. so we suggest at least keep every league there cars and don’t let demoted people play higher cars in same league

Car was in ‘drift mode’ for whatever reason still after I drifted around a corner I let go of the button heading toward a a ramp there was a small right turn to make but it caused me to slide off the road into the water to then Respawn me in front of the ramp to then crash due to no speed for it a further two times. I was far in the lead with the other 3 drivers no where near me until that happened

Why is this a problem with this game that it gets stuck in drift?
There needs to be a setting in options to allow you set a preference between toggle or hold to prevent this from happening.
The reasoning for me is when I press it works and other times it will do nothing unless I hold but the reverse cost of doing that is it sometimes get stuck in drift. It’s so hit and miss when it wants to function correctly so I think adding a setting for toggle or hold will fix the problem. Seems like both is possible which I find bizarre so I think it gets confused.

Major mp matchmaking issue. Since last night I only get matched to the same people over and over. At first vs lancer farmer bots. Boring raced but i could focus on the milestones. If you are missing on the lb when your club mate(s) check then you will have to stop playing the game until the LTE(dailys) are reset. The next day, so ~24hrs

besides stage 7 being almost impossible to play because of the lags, it also looks back just before you go from the wide open area into a narrow road at the beginnen of the space. So you can't really adjust anymore if you weren't already perfectly positioned

You can limit your crashes by restarting the game when switching modes. Really easy to do and doesn't take much time. It also has the added benefit of limiting point loss in mp from crashes.

What do you mean switching modes? Like between MP and events etc

if you just got done doing events, reset your game before playing mp for example

and it'll take hours for you to crash if you stay in mp

Today I got the Switch from my cousin, started playing a9 and played like 12 races. Then, I did another one, but the controllers were not responding. The touch screen was only responding. I went to the menu and everything was normal there, while on the game it wasn't normal

this was happening to me earlier with my joycons, not sure yet if it's my controller or not, but there were times where my nitro button wasn't working and I had to tap the button like five times to get red nitro

they seem to be working fine elsewhere

Yeah yeah, you’ll keep getting that until 100. It’s just the xp you gain from races hits a cap at a certain level
