the shortcut at the beginning is efficient but looking at your speed, it might have been faster to just go to the right and force barrel

+1, with lower nitro cars, you have to Shockwave and reach the top of the cliff asap (the incline plus higher friction factor will cause speed loss if SW isn't used; try to avoid scraping the top of the ramp to avoid losing speed) or use the route on the right
at 1:30, the odds of understeering are just way too great even with faster cars, so with slower cars, I just punch and/or drift sharply before entering the ship
there's a lot other smaller details I would include like 360 timings and minor racing line tweaks (which tangram did go into more detail below), but for the major route improvements, that's about it - overall, I'd give it a 3.8/10, you did seem in pretty good control on the straights and generally memorized the racing line, but there are inconsistencies that can be further ironed out

13% - if you have shockwave activated, try to take the jump further forward, a bit closer to the divider, which should enable you to gain a second instance of airspeed on the bump.
23% - aim a bit lower on that ramp or start drifting earlier as you land (28%), since the barrel roll ramp spun you weirdly which lost you a lot of speed.
47% - bit of an odd route there
59% - You wrecked. What am I supposed to say? Don't wreck there, I guess?
69% - 360d too early
90% - stay off the dirt man
97% - using perfect nitro to accelerate...? For real? Don't do that, only use shockwave or double-tap at the very least
