The main thing in ghost MP is, you're aiming for the best time you can do, just with other players simultaneously with their cars.

If you use H2 and you get Nile River / Thousand Minarets / Mountain Poles / Frozen Route, those are points down the drain.

In Multiplayer, you're really getting matched based solely on your Multiplayer points (like for example 1180) rather than your car rank (1700, 3000, etc) - recently, only very very few season-end MP2 seasons have rank-based matchmaking

To be honest I think GL team don’t know what to do with the game. No ideas, repeating the same old boring things… no creativity. No new content except useless cars to grind and more and more expensive kings (and some new track once or twice in a year).
Look at the 1vs1 mode. It was sth fresh, but it’s as any other mode - repeated in the same formula over and over again. I bet it will last in the very same format for another year or two. To the bitter end.
