It's based on how much rating the people you were racing against have.

Winning against someone with a higher rating than you will get you more points, and it goes up the more rating they have.

Likewise, losing against someone with a lower rating than you will cause you to lose more points.

It's never one specific number in normal Multiplayer series. There is a different Multiplayer series that used to be in effect called Rush, where there was little to no rating loss, and your position determined your gain, not the other people.

That mode is no longer active.

but hey make sure the connection of all your devices are optimal, because you may simply have bad wi-fi. Use internet cable witch you can get +/- 5 times the internet speed. Also update all your devices. And restart all of them as well your router.

I can't access the video but you are saying that players who ghost and teleport all over the track are hacking. This is completely false and only happens when players have a bad connection throughout the whole race and the game servers struggle to identify their location on the map. Also one more thing to keep in mind is that hackers on windows are very rare to find in multiplayer. If you see someone at the start of the race zooming past everyone else like they have unlimited nitro, then yes that would be hacking. This hack is mostly prominent on Android and to find it on windows would be super rare perhaps even non existent

I usually finish every new LP missions within 30 minutes unless it has to do with multiplayer races and the tracks aren't coming up. It's been over a week since I've completed all the missions except "finish first in Shanghai". For over 3 weeks now the track only came up 3 times. I got 2nd position out of 8 racers on all races. Not bad but not good enough as first place is needed. I have to deal with people using cheats. For that reason, I dislike multiplayer. I just played for over 72 hours, Shanghai never came up. I'm told it's because the BP reward is needed to unlock the 3rd star. The only way I'll see that track come up often, only if I spend token to buy BP on the store first - a few might get lucky. You'd expect GameLoft would give everyone a fair shot by making those tracks common tracks. Instead, when a track is needed; that track instantly become rarest track. Every aspect of the game is pure gambling. You can't play this game and not refer yourself as a gambler, else, it's pure denial.

Seeing players shooting forward/switching off/starting behind, which happens a lot, noting players names who do so, sending internal reports, where the players may get a Short Ban, then come back, maybe under a different name, performing the same stunts as previous. This is ruining the game and there's no fair level racing field.
Are they hacking? I do not know as I dont know what is involved in that process.
All I am saying, I thought it was an interesting game, until i started seeing and experiencing unbelievable behaviours and stunts which the game does not show how to do these, nor does any forum, unless of course i am mistaken?
One last point@plain pumice I experience those hacks a lot on my android device, especially in Multiplayer Races

Well if i tell you what's that then no one believe me like people hide stuffs they don't want other to know. Some People sell lua scripts used to exploit the game basically hacking like time hack just set the time you want to finish the race. It works in grand prix, events, career n mp. The reason you see those teleporters has something to do with these lua scripts executed via game guardian. I'm sure it's a exploit not connection issue like you'll only find one or two usually a higher ranker.

While connection issue effects the ping n high ping means lagger. It will affect only you n in high ping i can gurantee you can't win a race. Just quit.
