In MP1, why are there so many legend league cars racing in Platinum? I thought GL was going to correct this, but I’ve had 6 car races where the other 5 were all Class S cars.

they won't correct the problem because if they don't match legend league players with those in plat, they wont be able to play mp1 simply because there isn't enough players in LL

But there would be more players in LL if you didn’t need to beat Class S cars with a Class A car in order to reach LL.

there would be more, that's certain. However at the beginning of any season there will be only a dozen of players in LL. Witch means that in order for them to play again in mp1 they would have to wait a week or more to play again in mp1. And this creates even more issues in mp1, because those LL players wouldn't be able to complete there milestones and also no reputation for them. But let's say that the season will end in one or two days and there will be 200 players in LL, as you can imagine the matches will be almost only with 2 or 3 players witch doesn't excite as mush as an 7-8 players race where there is far more action.

It's exactly what usually happen even on Android. In LL, if you climb high enough, usually top 50 or above, most of the time you won't get full lobby.

I would think that GL’s matchmaking system could be programmed to adapt: once there are a certain # of players in LL, don’t mix the races any more. And that way, you will end up with more players in LL because platinum players will actually be able to earn promotion. Under the current system, it’s like there is a ladder that gets pulled up on those left behind in plat, and then there are fewer players in LL. It’s cyclical and self-fulfilling.

I think if they can adjust the point plus/minus system to reflect 1 Plat vs 4-5LL players, then it wouldn’t be as bad. But to lose -17 or whatever, is just ridiculous. And receive more points if you somehow manage to beat a LL player

I wouldn't have a problem with the matchmaking if they allowed us use our S CLASS cars from platinum league, it would balance the gameplay with legend league players. Since i unlocked the TUATARA and BUGATTI, i haven't been able to them in MP because i can't get up to LL due to the wicked matchmaking system, they can't keep giving us silly excuses that they mix PL and LL because there'd be less players in LL, but if that's the case then balance it all, let all cars be available from platinum league

Here's the issue. The problem is demotion from Legends League is <1700.

Play players need 50 more than that to get through.

So you still have Legends league lurking around 1700-1750s.
