on windows 10 if you pause the game while the race is on countdown or on black screen before it and wait about 5 seconds the game is gonna crash 500%

Most of my guys are complaining the same issue of Game being Crashed
But that’s happening to them after the update and I didn’t even downloaded the new update they why my game is crashing too?
I’m on my older version of the game and it was alright before this update came out
Those who updated the game are complaining about it and I thought “WoW I’m safe here as I didn’t updated it yet” but no I was wrong
The game keeps crashing every 15-20 minutes
Well I lost so much points and fuels here
I believe it’s the server but not the update cuz it’s happening on the previous version too

I am experiencing crashes when I wait in a room for a MP race to start. This didn't happen before the update. In the last 4 races it happened twice, thus 50 %. I used the Aventador J in the upper rush MP season. I have an Intel graphic chip only in my notebook, Windows 10.

Game is unplayable for me. I had to go to low settings have it running and I experience stuttering and so on even at this low resolution. If they dont fix it I am looking for another game.

When I got up this morning, I tried opening the game again & got the set up screen.....again.... and then game would not finish loading. uninstalled the game, ran WSReset & once I made sure everything on my end on my PC was within specs, I reinstalled the game. Had to do the set up as I thought since it was a fresh install, but after that time, the game loaded & I was able to play numerous Career races & a couple MP races without any difficulty. If you're PC meets the requirements, try that before contacting CC & waiting up to a week or more for a reply (they are probably swamped with complaints now & many outstanding tickets in queue already). Uninstall game, run WSReset & then reinstall the game. If issues still exist, then contact CC.

If that was true, I would still have issues with the program. but clearing the cache, resetting Microsoft Store & reinstalling the game did work for me after fighting with the game until 6 am today

Not saying it willw ork for everyone, but if they haven't tried that yet, it might save the headaches of trying to get CC to respond in a timely manner.

Some issues may be connected to some form of cross-platform interference. When my windows screen is in the shape of a phone-screen it says "Oh snap. s" use another something or other. It only flashes then disappears.

I'm on a laptop running windows as well. When I resize the screen, even at the starting line, there is another background picture gets displayed. Double platforms.

every update brings misery and frustration with it. i wonder why gameloft releases these update. game is lagging too bad even at bare minimum graphics. before the update it was running at optimal settings and now it lags on every track esp during mp. plus bad connection. my connection is running good with everything else but my connection to GL server is bad. i honestly still wanna defend the a9 team in some way cause afterall, theyre all just human. they simply just cant make the game be worked on easily and they clearly dont want the player base to die. asphalt 9 is a big game to handle and there most likely isnt many "main devs". to be instantly done with everything, theyd probs require a lot more time on their shifts or whatever or even more employees. bug fixing isnt easy and with the new update causing this bug, they didnt even realize it. just like on my pc, even theirs could have been working completely fine when they finished the update. all we can do is wait in agony sadly but the fix should be out soon im sure of it

@shadow smelt lag after update is normal, because the recompilation of shaders are no longer an exclusive progress bar watching solution as in MC5 was, but happens on the fly

problem is, it is done pretty quick, usually few minutes, and the lag is caused by, for example particle physics, but certainly because of changed device profiles

it's a crash fest it's what it is. Seems like it runs for a few minutes, crash. After restart it crashes almost immediately after starting a race. I think the cashed memory in RAM is at least part of the problem - might wanna check into that ....

Hi.

I used to play A9 at High graphics profile (with Motion blur & Anti-Aliasing turned off, 100% res scale @60fps) before Caribbean update.

Then I set graphics to Medium (with Motion blur & Anti-Aliasing turned off, 100% res scale @60fps) to get rid of lags in Caribbean tracks.

Now, after Tune-It-Up Update, I got lags in Medium too, so I switched to Low. Lags were gone, but I had to set my graphics on Very Low to get rid of crashes. I have turned off everything in Very Low, just 100% res scale and 60fps are on. Even now the game crashes sometimes.

My PC specs:

Intel Core i7 3770K + Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 1GB DDR3 as VRAM, 16GB DDR3 @2400MHz memory + Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD

Please do something about graphics. No change in graphics (I mean cars and tracks) since A9 came out (except for Caribbean tracks), but every time an update is released, I have to downgrade my graphics settings for no reason.

There is also a batch file that Gameloft posted her some time ago (I have a zipped version of it saved on my PC) that will clear the game cache, create a dump file & collect all your PC information & game information to send a text file to CC should you need to report any issues to them. When the popup kept coming up on my PC that I needed to install latest version of the game, I ran that batch file & it went away.....only to have another error pop up. but it also went away after restarting the game a few times.

your improvisation always cost me a lot... you higher the game graphics and alot of stuffs added...some of us have low pc spec.... dont higher graphics...game is very good when it is launched.... you f*****ed the entire game

@sly hamlet this has nothing to do with hardware, its a general bug for resolution scale so turning it way down will most likely decrease crashes

oh and -- @stuck quarry @viscid magnet @rose badger @zenith fractal if yall are DESPERATE to play the game instead of waiting for a fix (coming next week most likely), update your windows 10 to the may 2019 update (aka 1903). this has made the game work for all 3 people ive told to update it. it doesnt fix fraphics issues but it most likely will let you play the game with no crashes. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
