(1030) Even though it supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only (11_0). 💀
(HD5850) offers 800 MADD cores (called Stream Processors) that are grouped in 160 5-dimensional groups. The cores that support DirectX 11 (11_0) died 💀

I had the same problem. You have to be patience. Click on the ALU Folder in MS downloads. Then the download will be interrupted. Then click download again. When this doesn't works - download again.👆

How is it possible that on IOS and Android platforms players can refill fuel by watching ads, but they can't on PC? And you call it Unite. You always have something against PC gamers. They are discriminatory when it comes to e-sports competitions and now this too. Why don't you just cancel the PC version. I certainly won't be switching to a Mac for that.

The concept is simple, if you have a high end system you can use DX12 or even Vulcan, If not then it would use DX11. More important thing is to have the relevant DX updated the to latest version via Windows Update.

Agree. Mp doesn’t work. There is league mixing in early sub leagues. I reached silver and you are pitted against the next silver league up. Don’t understand why league mixing is is still a thing. There should be enough players so that it’s no needed anymore.

It is odd. The game is a resource hog. I have a laptop with a 4070 and it sounds like it’s about to take off. 🤣. Hopefully they will work on some optimisation. The graphics are great on max but they shouldn’t strain the system as much as they do.

Windows issues/features noted: Mouse cursor vanished but was still live and working; game tiles shift oddly in My Career; screen goes black for several seconds upon leaving the game; full screen mode not working properly (to toggle use Alt+Enter); screen goes a bit blurry on shockwave I think it's a feature but don't really like it; cannot see Garage Level on team list PLEASE put that back, I am team captain and I keep track of progress, having to go into each player to see Garage sucks. Positives: Graphics look super 🙂 lots of new features etc; I think once the kinks are ironed out it will be great

Here is an interesting observation since the update. I have a Microsoft Windows Surface Pro 2, from Canada. Before the update, I was able to play A9 as a tablet and use tilt to steer controls. Everyone is frustrated by the state of the game and mentioning them here but there is NO communication happening from side of GL devs or community team.

It can't be resolved, the "issue" is not exclusive to this game. No dx12 game can run on dx11 GPUs, as Intel/AMD/Nvidia haven't released a dx12 driver for them, mostly because many of those gpus were manufactured before dx12 even existed (before 2015)

No they don't, Fortnite for example switch for Unreal 4 to 5 and both Epic and Gameloft don't support more than one engine because you'd have to create everything twice and the new map wouldn't work.

cheater board, you'll only be matched with other people in mp and you'll stop earning rep entirely. The only way to fix it is to stop playing mp at all (including private rooms I think) for 24 hours. Once the 24 hours are up, simply check if you gain rank from a tle or career race ect. If you do you're out of cb and can play normally

btw, i feel like they forgot to delete the previous game files . the new unite is twice the size of old one. graphics are good if we see all lightings in certain sections of tracks but idk if 2x times the size is worth it. eithery they forgot to delete old files causing all this freezing like issue or the new game is bloated with alot of things that we can't appreciate with our potato PC

it is not running even for directx12? i have two devices with both runs direct12. both runs the game but one is freezing alot plus keyboard isn't working and another feels fine which have rtx 2060 graphic card. then i felt the game is gpu intense even at lowest of settings. have no idea about directx12 and don't even know what is it used for

You can implement dynamic lighting in many of the DirectX API versions, I believe the DX12 requirement was mainly for the fact that it's easier and better to work with

You can actually implement dynamic lighting with DX11, if you read through DX12's changes from DX11 it's mainly changes to be more low-level to have more access to some aspects of the graphics hardware and optimizations to the overall programming model of the entire API

MP has been changed to this because of skill issue players complaining about not being able to reach LL to use all their cars. So Shamelofts solution has been to add this "evergreen" multiplayer (mp2 season series). I want to know why they thought it was a good idea to then destroy mp1 and add "Team Pursuit" multiplayer. A far better solution would be to have added evergreen instead of team pursuit and keep MP1 & 2 the same as they were minus league mixing. Shameloft totally out of touch with the player base. I'm outraged at this point, what bozo's
