Gameloft developers if you don’t know how to adjust Devel Sixteen performance correctly, you have plenty of good programmers out there, it’s fine. Refund me all cost in Driver Syndicate 8, or change Devel Sixteen to previous version.

my main gripes with ALU are parts of the UI look stupid because whoever designed it didn't take accessibility into consideration, it's confusing to navigate, and the graphics optimisation is poor

yes, that is not a consistent fix, issue is related to one of the apps not having full permissions. you can try buying with another pc or you can try to make a new profile on your device. it worked for many

The radius and float changes was absolutely unnecessary like Bolide’s acceleration in the “buff” which apart of buff the nitro, also the Developers touched the Radius and acceleration of the car which was absolutely stupid and unnecessary.

Few small issues I've encountered on the Windows version:

• Overclock menu is not loading, so it's not possible to apply overclock chips on any car
• The button for going back on the bottom right isn't clickable all the time; This happens when I'm looking into the leaderboards and when I'm clicking on the button then it goes to information about one of the players
• In special events it doesn't show how much tickets a race costs
• In game chat is useless; Just as in previous version a lot was uncensored even if you was typing a normal word where a little part of it could mean something bad (like pass would be visible as p***) and the character limit is really low; Only typing a few words will make chatting in game not suitable (espacially during clash)

the problem its not the vehicle getting nerfed, all of us should agree that the car is op. The problem is that this is THE MOST EXPENSIVE car in the whole game, and when it was first introduced, there are no words saying that its bugged or over performed, when new WR are set, there are no words saying that its bugged, for 6 MONTHS, not a single word saying there’s something wrong. NOT EVEN when Drive Syndicated 9 was announced, you guys speak of current performance was bugged and it’s UNREALISTIC. NOT EVEN the patch notes say that stuff. So now answer us the question @sweet quarry, explain us “With these fixes, the car should be able to behave more predictively and make it more intuitive to drive. It should help set more consistent times in your races”

I'm sure ur one of the people who don't have it, i definitely wasn't one of the people who spammed devel to death. Was devel spam an issue? Yes definitely, the ideal solution? Put it and absolut(assuming the car is competitive to devel) in their own class and maybe only pair those cars against each other so everyone else can enjoy, that way spam problem would've been solved as well as devel would get a competitor. It's useless to suggest anything here anyway cuz they won't take action on it anyway, even if they do it'll be 4 years later in a lackluster manner

a) don't spend absurd amounts of money for pixels on a screen, esp given there is no obligation nor guarantee it will stay the same as when you bought it (ie one of the poorest choices you can make with your money)

b) similarly for gameloft, better communication and faster fixing of issues so as to not mislead people. personally i think they made a gamble on this knowing that the biggest whales (unfortunately) are too committed to not pour absurd amounts of money into the next money hole (in this case the absolut)

a) spending large amounts of money or not depends on the persons, if the player spends the money and didn’t get what the product really is. It’s a scam.

I believe there are no ads on the windows version because the game thinks the pc is a console. That would also explain why the sound effect for activating nitro occurs on pc when it should just be console. They will probably return once this is fixed

Best for you to get Afterburner, install RivaTuner and post a screenshot showing your usage. The 3050 is easily vram limited. If you have gpu heavy settings, you're obviously gonna be gimping yourself. DX12 means this engine is actually fully utilising gpus for once unlike A9L.

Game also renders at your display resolution for once on the windows store version. 100% means 100%. It's not making a poor attempt at replicating the windows setting.

Despite 1440p, A9L always rendered at 1080p for me. ALU actually fixed the resolutions scale option. Steam had an actual resolution setting, so it never inherited this issue.

Game Loft has just turned into Greed Loft and the update shows it even more. They will do everything within their power to make the game pay 2 play and it is already pay 2 win. There is no problem with that. It means it's actually scaling properly. It's rendering 3d elements afterall.

Add a frame rate cap if you don't want that. If your GPU has above average cooling, utilisation shouldn't be a problem.

Going from 60/70 in A9L to 99% in ALU, is one of the first positives I saw from the updated engine.

Had it been pegging the CPU, that's another matter.

You want you GPU to be properly utilisesmd in a game. This upgraded engine is doing that compared to the 50/60% utilisation we saw in Asphalt 9 legends.

This is like complaining that a game is using all your threads in a CPU limited scenario. You literally want that. The performance while it's doing that is where matters arise.

Is it doing that while you're just getting 50 fps @ 1080p? That's a problem.

If it's a problem, introduce an fps cap with MSI afterburner and you'll still have stellar frames, but with utilisation dropped. Don't uncap your fps and then complain that a gane with many dynamic elements is using what's you've allowed it to use.

You've mentioned that A9L took it up to 85°C, so I don't know. Seemed a bit high already, though it's still very much within spec for you GPU. It's got a very high thermal throttling limit, so that 80 you saw at 120 cap is also fine...if it's what you should be getting is another question tho.

Are you looking at "current temperature" or "junction temperature?

And maybe check with some other games too. If not, maybe benchmarks.

Use RTSS instead. Always much better.

It's a Microsoft Store game so you need to use ctrl+add. Luckily, that works for games like Asphalt. Not all from what I know tho.

So, launch the game, open RTSS, hold ctrl then click on add. You should see ALU's .exe running. Just click on it and tap OK.

Asphalt's limiter and Vsync have been broken and inconsistent for a long time now. Sad the inconsistency carried over. Seems like a code issue.

I didn't try applying an OC on my PC Windows version and then logging into the game on my Xbox to see if it works just like you can claim rewards from the Windows version. That's what I do.

Also the UI is very bad, I had minor symptoms like welders flash last night, the fluorescent yellow especially in the Daily Goals - challenges tab is way too bright, overall something needs to be done about the extreme contrasts throughout the game, it is literally unhealthy to play this game now.
