Screen recording doesn't work on the xs max. The video stops after 3 seconds. I have checked it on other apps and it works fine. This was also the case prior to the update.

Crazy lag on iPad 2018 and iPad Pro 11”. All modes but moreso in the slipstream event. Frame drop is way higher than before update even after doing all the tricks to increase speed and clearing the memory.

It’s happening more and more frequently at the worst possible times...this one cost me 2 or 3 places in MP and who knows how many ratings points!! Maybe you should concentrate on fixing actual problems in the game instead of coming new dumb ideas for car launches like Epic Import parts events where you run 100 races and don’t get one part (I notice for events like this or even the Trion or other LTEs that there is no drop rate for the packs...why is that?)

@obtuse valve the issue posted by @tame chasm is something many in my club have faced. After taking the barrel roll ramp, game pushes the car off course as seen in above video. One shouldn't have to take a left there and avoid the ramp. Rather, GL should try to find out what's happening here.

@tame chasm have you tried to stop the nitro before starting the roll? It has helped me sometimes avoid this issue.

@mild hull no, I haven’t tried stopping the nitro...but that defeats a lot of the benefit of the barrel roll ramp by doing that. What drives me nuts is it’s so random...and only usually happens when I’m in the lead or the top 3 in a race in MP...so you lose ratings which sucks!!

Here is another one...last straight of Shanghai...WELL past the point of choosing the left or right path, obviously heading down the right path, purple nitro boost and the car appears to get confused about what path it is on and suddenly veers left into the barrier. I was in 3rd place in this race at the time and ended up finishing 6th I believe...and again you can do this route 8 or 9 times with no issue, and then this happens...

I haven’t been able to record asphalt 9 every since I got my phone around November. Many people have this issue and it’s really annoying. Device is iPhone XS running latest version of iOS.

Hey Gameloft...can someone explain to me why when I crash after landing on Scotland Path of the Wind route at the bottom of the hill, I respawn half a kilometre back at the top of the hill with only the long, slow route to go?? That’s crap!! It’s not bad enough you lose time in MP with the crash, but then you’re penalized another 5 to 7 seconds by having to take that route!! You should respawn where the crash happens like any other crash!! Fix your shyte!!!!!!!! It’s ridiculous!

@thorny terrace yes. Due to some very strict laws in some countries for online gaming, you must be at least 16 to play MP, join clubs, etc. Gameloft needs to verify your age if you send in any request to have it changed to access age restricted areas of the game.

Even the iOS devices that support 60fps struggle sometimes. The only devices that they may add to 60fps support are the iPhone 8. Anything running the a11 chip or up. Lower devices will struggle even more and heat up quickly.

The new Caribbean map is a true paradise and a marvelous masterpiece. However plz just roll everything back to the last ver. incl. both client side and server side, because the game is almost unplayable now. Like other players are reporting I face incredibly serious lags and sudden app crashes constantly during both event and mp races in all maps. I also frequently have to be "waiting for other players" forever. When i'm finally allowed to start after 1 or 2 minutes' wait, others are already far away or even have finished the race lol. My network condition hasn't changed recently and these problems never happened before this update. I noticed that some players were already ragequiting a9 due to this. (ipad mini2, ios9.3.3)

I really need some help here. My MP has been unplayable since yesterday evening (around 8pm EST). After waiting for a whole 3 minutes, it says "No opponents found. Please try again later."

I can play daily events and other things. Just not MP. All my club mates can play MP perfectly. My club mate showed that my name (Rumor, ID 8fdd2a) is no longer in the club leaderboard (Club ID #8247a).

I've tried restarting the phone, reinstalling the app, switching connection method (from wifi to LTE in Canada). My device storage is far from full.

Using a second iOS device with the SAME A9 account, MP also doesn't connect.

Using a third iOS device with a NEW DIFFERENT A9 account (different Apple ID), MP works.

It seems like it's something related to my account. My club ID is 8fdd2a. I'm club leader of Rising on iOS (top 50 club).

Here's another piece of information that might help with the investigation. Looking at my old screenshots yesterday, in the middle of my last MP game I was disqualified (see attachment). I thought it was due to poor connection, but I'm not exactly sure why. The difference was that I moved to away from my home wifi to use my LTE data, but I was playing in a building with poor signal. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. @fringe lantern @drifting latch

@fringe lantern sorry to bother you but this update is extremely unstable. Many barrel ramps in this new map have bad trajectories which lead to landing on roof or crashing into obstacles while attempting to take them without landing on roof. I know you are not the responsible party but many people are just over this including myself. First time lagging in MP, taking forever to find opponents only to close the game and have my fuel taken, ramping up the “AI” and calling it the Asphalt experience. The only thing this feels like is torture and attempting killing of this game consistently. Please relay this to people who make those big decisions. This will be the end of a franchise and I don’t want to see that as dumb as I act on here at times.

I see at other time racers in front being taken out to only them ghosting right through me knocking me down what’s up what time it is crazy, and all lagging. New maps problem/LAGS: Even when I use Xs max , on new maps it lags a lot especially on dirt and roller coasters, please bring another update to fix bugs and glitches, and optimize the map for xs, xs max and xr please, and now it seems like multiplayer is stuck on the new maps only, and I can’t play anymore

I play on an older iPad any is always crashing on me, I also play on my iPhone 7+ and have no problems with it crashing. But what I’ve done to lesson the crashes on my iPad is to close the game out and then soft boot my iPad, basically shut off the iPad. That didn’t work, which sucks because I like to play on it because of the size screen. I’m not gonna go out and buy a 600 dollar iPad just for this game, F-That

It’s like they didn’t test play the new track on all devices before releasing. Just bc it works on high spec devices doesn’t mean we are about to go out and get new devices for your expensive/time consuming game. I’m lagging, frame skipping all over the place in MP with this update. And no, it’s not my internet. It’s this garbage update. I can’t even tell where my opponents are half the time.

@swift lichen they won’t. It’s easier to scapegoat us rather than accept responsibility for anything. Especially for this downgrade of an update. New track is terribly designed with bad trajectories on many ramps causing instant death. It’s like they designed it but didn’t try it in a competitive setting. No wonder pros are quitting this game. Why should anybody take this seriously if the company can’t take it seriously?

It’s been more than a week since the update came out- and the game crashing problem is still not fixed. We’ve been complaining about it for a week now, and we still haven’t gotten any news about you guys fixing it. Cmon gameloft! I’ve never seen a game take this long to fix a game breaking issue. At least give us information about it. We don’t even know if you guys are fixing it or not. We low end iPhone users have been unable to play events and multiplayer properly since the update.

Hey everyone

About to quit the game here, so really need your help.

I have recently bought a new iPhone and am trying to transfer my data over. I do not use GameCenter, I have my data synced via Facebook. I have logged in using the same iOS credentials, redownloaded, and I’ve even played the game through till Rep 5, Garage 2 with everything unlocked. I still cannot use the “Connect” menu to restore myself. I cannot for the life of me figure out what to do.

I have reinstalled, tried playing further into the game, I can’t do anything to restore. Am I missing something?

As a side note, I think it’s disgusting you can pay money to GL and not save your data externally at the point I’m at on the new device.

I have now finished up through Class D to finish 3 seasons, finished multiple events, multiplayer matches, purchased using coins from Legend store, and joined a club earning points in there. Still cannot use the “Connect” button.

@fiery epoch right after a crash, go to:
Settings -> Privacy -> Analytics -> Analytics data
you will find a list of crash log of all your apps. Look for the most recent on asphalt, maybe you can find some nice guess on what is causing the bug and if you can change something on your phone to fix that. This is something that GL is surely doing on their side, but its not bad to try to help in this way (also you can paste it in pastebin. com if you want to share it, but i don't know if it contains your private data)

@drifting latch sounds like you may have been placed on Cheater Board if you are not receiving any credit for playing. You should have received a pop up message warning of possible unauthorized activity during your game play. Some players are saying shutting down the game completely for a full 24 hours has removed them from CB, others say they are still in CB weeks later.

@drifting latch you are being monitored by Gameloft every second you play & as long as they continue to see an anomaly that triggers the anti-cheat algorithms, the player will remain in CB. Not seeing any activity for 24 hours apparently resets the anti-cheat algorithms & removes the soft ban from that player.

So I played a lot of this game in the summer and after i finished the campaign i started hacking and of course I got banned,now my question is can i still play the game on my phone? I changed the game center account and the apple id account and redownloaded the game but it still says i am banned. I can't even change my account to play the game again? Like is this an ip ban or what?It feels stupid to me,like i hacked but I didn't play multiplayer just some events a couple of times,I don't think i deserve a perma ip ban just because i got frustrated on this game(after all it is pay to win and i realize that does not give me the right to havk but still...)

Does anybody else’s game crash when playing the lamborghini season finale part 1 event? Mine does every single time. I have tried to play it at least 20 times but it crashes right before the race starts. What a waste of precious tickets and fuel that can be used for the Terzo Event. I am on an iPhone 6 Plus. Every other map loads without issue most of the time without crashing, but this one daily event does. I really hope Gameloft can fix this issue. Sadly though, they have not addressed this problem that many of us are experiencing.

If you are on the Cheaterboard please beware that playing in Jailbroken Style can also cause the Anti Cheat Detection even if you don't have a Hack installed . Several Tweaks can also cause this Issue . To be offline 24H doesn't work the most time , just continue playing normally and after a period of X Weeks you will get back to normal . Important is to play Non-Jailbroken. I was on the Cheaterboard for 2 Werks even without Hacking , but no Issues since I play Nom-Jailbroken .

@drifting latch yeah I remember some time Ago App Store caused this Issue also . Several IAP tweaks or flex patches can cause this also . Server- based Gamed like Asphalt are so sensitive on IOS against Hacking , for me several times I had to delete game data with appsmanager and start new and didn't know why because i had no hack , lost my progress several times until I figured out it must be the jailbroken mode . Since then no Issue ...

@drifting latch it seems to be working again for the last 15 hours or so. It wasnt for car refill only, it was for daily tickets as well. After finishing an ad, the daily tickets didnt increase

@drifting latch On iPhones that 3D touch is functional, there is somewhat a major bug on ‘tap to steer’ setting. When you press one side of the screen ‘a little hard’ to make turns, the brakes won’t work at the same time. These kind of ‘double touch’ only works when you touch the screen very softly, which is almost impossible on most intense races. I guess it is related to 3D touch or something, so please check this for once and I’ll be delightful.

You could try to switch off 3D Touch in iOS settings. It may help you to get rid off of this issue. @drifting latch

We need to change the tablet. The game is not optimized at all. The programmer himself understands that it is impossible to wait for optimization now because before all the code was written manually and debugged. Now they just collect all sorts of things from ready-made frameworks and all this eats up the device's resources.

The reason why your Ipad is heating up while playing Asphalt 9 is because it uses a lot of processing power. This kind of processing power slows down your tablet to the point where it crashes

In the middle of races, the game still crashes. The screen pauses for a second, then the app closes. The tickets and gas for cars decrease, but there are no rewards even if I finish the race.

Fix the game Gameloft. I’ve run 5 Class S Cup races and every time my car has gone left off the ramp before the causeway despite the path in Touchdrive showing straight ahead!!It’s not like this is something new...I’ve been complaining about it since the update in DECEMBER!!! Guess that proves how much Gameloft values it’s loyal players if they’re not laying out cold, hard-earned cash to play-to-win!! Don’t worry, I would expected any more of a response here than to 90% of the support tickets that I raise with issues. Keep up the good work and you will drive 75% of your players away. I know a LOT of people who are getting fed up with the lack of response and unreasonable requirements you’ve been imposing for the last few months!!

Ok yeah I get that I have bad WiFi, but can you at least make it so we don’t loose points in multiplayer! I’m in first place and all of a sudden explode and loose like 20 points. It would help a lot of people and would also help them enjoy the game better if you fixed this. Please consider!

I try to keep my calm and use a proper language. It"s the second time I end up in cheaterboard without being a cheater. I played a lot to have a good position in multi and now I can't play for 24 Hours . This game is full of cheaters and Gameloft doesn't care.

Hello!
I have an issue with a screen recorder on Iphone XR (12.2).
I can record 1 video only and then couldn't save anything! Reboot helps but only for a 1 video.
Same problem with Asphalt 8. Also, 3rd part recorders (like DU recorder) has the same issue.

But it works well with other games and programs!

Fix it please!

@meager zealot It’s a widespread issue on XR, XS and XS Max and hasn’t been fixed for months. Screen recording only works on iPhone 8 or lower as long as I know.

UPD.

Same issue if you'll try to mirror your Iphone screen on a PC. Menu, other games, etc. works 100% well, but when you'll try to open Asphalt, mirror will stuck and only reboot will help to pair Iphone and PC again.

What’s the point of doing 2-lap Carribean maps on MP? My iPhone XS gets crazy hot and laggy cuz Carribean is such a heavy and unoptimized map. Frankly the Carribean map is a total failure, even lagging like crazy on the most powerful processor.

Either fix the mp leaderboards or honer the rewards as read .. if we don’t know what place we r in how r we to know when we need to race. It’s a system wide glitch I haven’t spoken with anyone that is not having this issue
