Speaking from experience, I did not end up in a good situation when I was watching TikTok content back when I was about to turn 18. Tiktok is the platform that watches and hears everything you do and makes an algorithm out of it (better turn off microphone permissions for it), lots of hidden content can appear out of nowhere without you even searching for it. And why is that? Spyware software is always on to check everything you do on it.

And Why did I end up badly because of tiktok? As I mentioned above, the platform spys on you. Back in October 2024, I got surprised of seeing content I've never searched before on my main page (If you dont know, I only watch horror type of movies) and by just having a single conversation with another person based on the context, it changes the algorithm automatically, I went deep, even deeper doing research based on the content, this was the worst move I could ever done in my life.

The research did make me enter websites which had footage of things that are highly prohibited in most popular social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram) tiktok does the same but people always manage to bypass.

This is an alert for you to get rid of it (especially if you're underage), to your own health and not risking it.

Overwall I recommend you to watch this video so you can have a clear point of view about tiktok itself (I wont go deep as it contains things that are not allowed to be spoken in this server)
