I have this really cheap external dvd drive which wasn’t working and I noticed in device manager there was a warning triangle on one of the device so I clicked uninstall driver on it and then click add legacy hardware and picked a device off the list I thought was correct and click install and instantly blue screen. After restoring turns out the disc driver was so cheaply made that it had a bad connection so it was connecting and disconnecting over and over but I actually managed to play music off a cd
