practice the gauntlet tracks in private lobbies, high accel cars are oftentimes best for gauntlet, look at the best performers in your pod which cars they use on which tracks and what times they set, dont do gauntlet on the first day but sign up like 18-36 hours after it starts (you might lose a days worth of gokens, but usually you get a less competitive pod)

differently. U cannot get in a lower division bc the game simply checks the cars in ur garage. Evidently, bc u have good cars ull be in div V. The 'sandbagging' that people do is set a bad defense when they enter gauntlet, lose regularly so they stay lower on the lb, get 5 easy wins per day, and then like 2 days before the end they set a proper defense and sprint up the lb into a top25 to top5 depending on the pod (and the quality of their defense/garage)
