Gauntlet seems like a waste of time. It takes too much time to do these challenges daily. The Clash was simpler and it took way less effort. We already have MP 1 & 2, Team Pursuit, Showroom, Daily Events, car hunts, career, SE (including DS now).

personally this mode only takes too much time if you're going for top positions and are consistently going for difficult times

comparing to clash the amount of rewards I get for the amount of effort I put in gauntlet is way better

and when it comes to competition, again unless you're going for top positions it really isn't that bad

with the majority of the playerbase being td drivers, most of those high end S class spammers aren't any good either

like clash this is a competitive mode so td drivers wont really be able to do much

however the rewards you get is still way better

Seriously, if TD didn't exist in A9/ALU, the player base would have been about 1/5 or less than what is now. The game physics are too complex and unreliable.

you put much less effort driving in td than in a manual control method, therefore it's natural that in competitive gamemodes td players are always behind

TD players are more like car collectors. You can still achieve decent results as TD. For instance, I have 189 cars and level 40 garage. I paid very little during many years.

The problem is that the TD routes are ridiculous most of the times. Very badly made. Imagine if the TD routes were actually optimal (follow the proper racing lines).

It would essentially make it a true skill check, a 1:1. No garage baloney, no excuse to complain because someone has Pay To Win content advantage over you. It's also a solution to players that have 'no garage' that want to participate.
