I will state I've noticed something interesting with my group and people playing The Gauntlet; I have a few high-ranking S-Class cars, but nothing obscene like F5, or D16, or Absolut. And yet, while I'm sorted into Division 5 I've noticed that just about everyone else in my group does not own D16, or Absolut, or Tartarus, or Bolide, etc.

Choose the right car for the track. Some require higher acceleration or handling+nitro rather than top speed. For example Osaka - Meiji Rush. Vanda is a good option there
