Dear Devs,
I’ve been thinking long and hard about game balance in Battle Nations, and I’ve identified a critical design flaw that’s holding back the true spirit of strategic outpost building.
The Orphanage is criminally underutilized.
Right now it just sits there looking all sad and charitable, xp only jobs, giving some pitiful morale or population bonus like some kind of weak humanitarian building. This is unacceptable. We need to make the Orphanage pull its weight like a proper industrial powerhouse.
My proposal: The Orphanage should provide a significant Coal production bonus.
Think about it. Those poor kids have endless energy, tiny hands perfect for crawling into narrow mine shafts, and zero labor laws to slow them down. While my adult miners are busy unionizing and demanding coffee breaks, the little ones could be in there 24/7 producing that sweet, sweet black gold. It’s basically free child labor I mean, character-building vocational training that benefits the entire war effort.
Picture this flavor text:
"The smiles on their faces as they haul coal carts really warm the heart... and the steel mills."
This change would finally make the Orphanage a must-build meta building instead of the decorative guilt trip and source of XP it currently is. Realism. Synergy. Strategic depth. And Military Industrial potential.
Please consider this vital improvement in the next patch. The children yearn for the mines.
Sincerely,
