#Buff GB resource yield so it becomes an alternative to BFC

Since the devs have shown they don’t want to change the GB formation too much, I propose to buff the resource yield to 150 or 200 per raid.

Current GB gives 400 SP, which is quite a bit less than BFC’s 476. With this buff it would be an alternative to BFC, offering more valuable resources (iron, oil, and lumber) at the cost of reduced SP and longer fight times compared to BFC. It also maintains not having the “Click a shock trooper over and over” mechanic as players are fighting a proper encounter for resources rather than a single enemy unit. This would help improve encounter diversity and give players a 2nd option for grinding.

I agree very much. The only hope low spenders have to compete with whales is to out produce them in free units. Without resource farming, this is completely impossible as premium resource gathering is both twice as fast, and more efficient. Another, better, alternative would be reintroducing occupations, but since the community and madrona seem to have collectively acquired tbis, that will never happen.

I would thumbs up but as I cannot react to the poster’s comments I’ll voice my support here.

Main way used to be farming, but rn only stone and kinda wood are viable to farm

#

Painful, but you got a ton of rss

I agree with the idea, but am curious how it’s going to be done. Considering devs have a way to change formations I’m sure they could come up with a way to edit the map as well.

-# Would be funny if they just stacked 5 iron mines on top of each other.

quartz sorrel
#

That would be funny xd

#

But I’d assume either some slightly retextured building or just making an adv iron/oil/lumber give 150 since they aren’t seen anywhere else raidable afaik

If this were to happen I’d also say New Haven’s militia and resource output should be increased

#

Obviously we all know the gear is leaving

#

It’s hardly a question

quartz sorrel
#

Yeah it’ll be interesting to see what happens to New Haven

“I enjoyed the “click a shocktrooper over and over” mechanic, suddenly I’m against it after the devs removed it”

What are you actually trying to do?

This same message was posted yesterday too, he just deleted it. Verbatim word for word the same. I was going to screencap and post it, but I figured there was no point.

If you can’t kill the AS then the extra gears won’t really make a major difference

The gear?

#

Yeah it definitely needs to go

#

You could do some silly stuff if the gear was still around

#

You could feed an insanely high number of Refinement Facilities to churn out dozens of widgets on the daily

#

Also it would kinda just

#

remove the upside of Super Tanks over Heavier ones

#

which would be

#

you know

#

kinda crumby for people who bought a lot of Supers

infinite gears, kinda turns a lot of bosses into just a gacha pull...

twin granite

Aren’t they already?

#

Lmao

balmy shuttle
#

? no.

That's part of what they are, but they're also a reliable source of large amounts of t3 resources

twin granite

I speak in jest

#

I get your point

Infinite gears are definitely not coming back xd

I would agree that the rss reward rates need to go up at GB.
It's fundamentally a "dead" spot, as the resource to risk ratio is often pretty bad based on the currently low reward given.
Even for max lvl players with max rank units, the time commitment compared to the rewards are still pretty awful RN.
