So to get special units like the boom bus or supreme mini tank or any other unit like them you have to wait for a promotion or now dead events. cause for the supreme mini tank you actually had to pay real money for it but it is no longer available since the original shutdown of 2017. And if we want to build any limited edition troops we could go with earning fragments to build in the factory or when ever we have to build it we do a repeatable quest to make one with out waiting for the build timer. This allows fragments to be earned in I would like to call weekly tournaments or quests which can be completed in 6 hours. The more lengthy the tournament or quest the more fragments you can get. This can allow you to build nano pod units if you have the fragments without the use of nano pods. And if you don’t want the fragments you can sell them on the market for nano pods or gold or even gift/sell them to your friends.

He thumbs down everything so ignore his opinion.
The game shut down in late 2015 early 2016 not 2017.
I have no opinion because I think it's best we just avoid promotional units right now.
Agreed, many were balancing nightmares and if they were actually balanced I’d be way more inclined to upvote
I thumbs down opinions I don’t like and consider generally bad. Many of them just happen to be yours.
I don’t “Thumbs down everything”
You can tag me next time you have a bratty remark
Cope and seethe ig? You thumbs down literally anything that would identify as QoL.
-# (Not just me, I see you thumbs down everyone lol)
If you had an opinion that wasn't being a clown, it would be old guard, as you don't want the game to change (In any manner). You don't have an opinion however, you just want to be a nuisance (to anyone with an opinion). You don't make suggestions, you exist to hate on those that do.
Like genuinely, I don't think you expect people to take you seriously so I don't know why you're trying to act serious here.
I thumbs down ideas that are in line with supercell games. You are right about a divide in the player base. I don’t like shards and it is my right on this server to vote. The real clowns are those of the notion that opinions other than their own are bad. There are many QOL changes I am not opposed to but ultimately there is no point in explaining myself on this one when it’s two fundamentally different games we want.
I hate grinding for shards, there are plenty of other games that already have that feature so keep it there 🤷♂️
This game has a fragile economy as it is, focus should be put onto improving that first.
Buddy I stopped playing Clash a decade ago, and I stopped as quickly as I started. It's assumptions to put out that I want the game to be like that. Unfortunately for you, most QoL is going to mirror more successful games.
Battlenations had the plug pulled under King because it underperformed. The (current) developers themselves expressed interest in getting the game to more people, however they have (at this time) made it mirror 1:1 the old. You can see them lightly making changes when it comes down to things like repeating battles, or Greenborough's Shock Troop situation.
There's a lot to work on, and a lot of different ideas to tackle that. There's rumors of the Medium tank being F2P. Is it F2P? Well, even if it was, I have meaningfully passed the point where that makes sense. How about Bars and gears? Well you hit level 20-30 and do Navel. The worst aspect of this game! It's highly unfinished and was the last thing Z2 Implemented. In the original game you did Arena. Well, Madrona doesn't like that so they're changing how it operates before implementing it.
To say we're playing a "finished game" at the moment is laughable. But as long as the game is finding direction, and it's place, players will suggest things to make life easier. Unfortunately, most instances that make life easier, are yes, in fact rival competitor games. Because those games survive the market, and retain interest / draw players back to them.
Does that mean BN should be a gacha hell? No, but your genuine reaction to most posts, including eliminating fomo, is to thumbs down. This leaves you at a position where you frankly, just don't have a point. Fomo in any game, is bad. Do I agree with this post? No I don't vote on it because of that. You on the other hand see "Player gets fomo unit" and thumbs down it seems.
I thumbed it down because i hate shards/fragments in games. I don’t like them. Battle nations has a life support economy in terms of resources, but it is an original idea and it should remain that way. It is very easily adaptable as well so why try to copy something else that is lazy and even more grindy. I personally like limited time events and units, thats something we just wont agree on. I don’t however think they should be meta units, more just cool trophy units. The early game should be number one priority right now. Both in teaching players how to play and removing pay to win safeguards like resources and population costs.
Eventually OGs will bot be able to fund the game and they will need to make the new player experience more friendly.
Nothing in my suggestion (The shop proposal it sounds like you're talking about) was about grinding. I literally suggested implementing them into the Boss Strike tiers. You already grind in Boss Strikes. What?
While you can clamor that it should be original and that stands on it's own, I don't really think you can just invent a new way to make players lives easier. Battle Nations compared to any other game, is ironically one of the worst in my memory. The grinding is terrible, the SP gains are sad, sad! The Boss Strikes encourage you to keep your nose to the grind stone if you want potent T10 units. It's original but it's adapted by Z2 to milk you for money. I think most player solutions want to move away from that.
The original plan for Z2 is to keep you invested in the game, by making things difficult without spending a premium. With Promo's neutered, you're getting the game at it's rawest form. It hasn't even cooked yet.
I wasn’t referring to any of your suggestions specifically, I am just a long time opponent of shards. Its the trope with every mobile game and I don’t like it. The slow SP gain is intentional, I don’t agree with it but it has been said it’s to prevent the majority from blowing through content. I think with double sp weekends, guild sp, and boosts thing swill become manageable. There are many resources in the game, just make more. Give these resources functionality outside of just outright buying power. I agree promos should not be one time buys because many of them were meta, however many should not return period without a nerf. They shouldn’t be the only meta to begin with. I personally enjoy the grind of the game, especially boss strikes. I think many forgot how grindy they are hence why for some reason another boss strikes was voted for all the way in march.
I think the game was less grindy because at level say, 70, you had more SP from encounters because the enemies were more difficult. So grinding the wimp wasn't just 200 measely XP from bigfoots, it was getting what Tronk is currently dropping when you get his invasion, but regularly from any base invasion. Maybe even more. My brain wants to say around 2000 SP every fight.
The original boss strike was definitely grindy, but most people just generally don't enjoy grindy things. I think the progression system is definitely here, it just needs flesh.
I think that if they offered incentives to grind it would be better received. I understand why people hate grinding in this game, it’s very monotonous at times. Double SP events are what comes to mind firstly. Additionally the absurd resource requirements for early units that get phased out should be removed. Let players grind r6 raptor, mini tank, etc in their 20s. They have little use by the time you get t2 & 3 resources to upgrade them and would help with the tf2 unit spam. (Leave their progression as is)
The early game in my opinion is the weakest aspect of this game and is what burns people out more than anything.
The problem is just how Z2 handeled everything. Consider that leveling up something like a mini-tank requires not just gears, which you won't really want to be spending on it by the time you get them, but widgets, which you also won't be wanting to spend. And through all that effort, you get it doing a hair more of damage.
