Please make it so there are some sort of rewards from the boss strike for personal contributions, in addition to the existing rewards ladder for guide-wide contributions. I understand that the system is set up in order to promote guild-play and cooperation; the personal rewards should be available only to those who are in a guild while the boss strike is going on. I think these rewards can be similar or different from the guild-wide rewards, but they should go to including the T10 rewards for players who achieve incredibly high scores. This should actually help with group effort for guilds outside of the top competitive guilds, for these reasons:
-
It creates an incentive for every member to participate. First, it gives an immediately visible "reward" for the personal contribution of each member, while the personal thresholds are low enough that each member can easily grasp that the first rewards are only a few points away, even if their guild already reached a high tier.
-
It allows high-performing players to be able to take more chances with which guild they are in, perhaps even starting their own guilds to reach a wider base of players, without having to worry about being unable to get the unique unit rewards because their guildmates were unable or unwilling to contribute enough.
Using points from the last boss strike, perhaps rewards could be given for total thresholds such as:
10k
25k
50k
100k
250k
500k
1 million
2 million
3 million
with, say, the last two tiers offering the T10 reward unit. If balance is a concern due to some players having too many T10 units, these could be only given out for players whose guild did not achieve T10/T11 in the first place.
Furthermore, these scores could be taken without considering the guild-size bonus, to avoid incentivizing people to downsize their guilds just to reach the personal thresholds.
Since we already have leaderboards for the first boss strike, I hope that at least the higher-end rewards here could be given out retroactively.
