Check the game logs for this game. I know how the rejoin loop was triggered. Something went wrong when I proposed an alternative trade and another players offer was accepted. The game got stuck afterwards and I couldn’t get rid of the trade options.

I think I was just stuck in a rejoin loop and I ended up getting booted out of a game. The game before it wouldn’t let me place my first settlement. I was in such a strong position in the rejoin loop one 😂

Assume your game is stuck. I tried this method. For this you should not close the app.

While the game is still in play try logging in another device. It will resume the game correctly. But if you quit the app and try it it’ll get stuck in rejoin loop.

I guess this has something to do with minor network issues that won’t allow players to rejoin and the game thinks that the player is active inside the game or trading something.

There should be a timeout for chances and also there should be multiple allowances for players to quit and join. Refresh timeout should be less. Also. It would be better if the players are given a pop up when opening the app that “ do you want to rejoin existing running game? “ to let users decide.

if the match is "broken" you shouldn´t lose anything. We added in checks if anyone in the match still does moves to prevent users from canceling due to ... not being in the lead.

Yes, that is how you can unstuck yourself currently: close and reload app, then click on the "x" at the top middle of the main menu, before loading into the rejoin screen.

If you close and reopen the app, there should be an "X" in the upper pop-up, before you get rejoined. Do you have the option to click on that? Then you can get yourself out.

Do we get our points back for matches that get stuck? I’ve lost close to 40 just by glitching out of games.

It is hit and miss when I check the points. Sometimes yes and other times no.

It glitches its seems about 1 out of every four matches.
It hard to want to keep playing when it could just be fixed.

Suggestions: Limit the Number of Times an AI may suggest a trade. Limit the Length of Play of an AI to say 30 seconds - on all games. It doesn't need to be an option when setting up the table. Just my thoughts.
