Hey everyone I've been using chatgbt to help me get my head around the rules and added bits, it said this about the city tracks but my wife said she couldn't find it in the book. it's confusing online cause I'm finding different books, can anyone please confirm what I've sent below is correct or not?
Here’s a breakdown of what you unlock at each level of the City Improvement Tracks in Cities and Knights:
- Politics Track
Level 1
Eligible to draw Blue Progress Cards when the Event Die shows a Blue Castle.
Level 2
Unlocks the ability to promote Strong Knights to Mighty Knights.
Mighty Knights are the most powerful, with 3 strength.
Level 3 (Festung):
If barbarians successfully invade, you do not lose a city, even if you contributed the least knights.
Level 4 (Kathedrale):
Earn 1 Victory Point for upgrading to this level.
Level 5 (Rat Catans):
Claim the Metropolis for Politics, granting 2 Victory Points and making the city immune to barbarian attacks.
- Science Track (Green - Paper)
Focus: Production and road-building.
Level 1 (Bibliothek):
Eligible to draw Green Progress Cards when the Event Die shows a Green Castle.
Level 2 (Irrigation):
Gain 1 Resource of Your Choice whenever you roll a 7
Level 3
Build Roads for 1 Less Resource.
Level 4
Earn 1 Victory Point for upgrading to this level.
Level 5
Claim the Metropolis for Science, granting 2 Victory Points and making the city immune to barbarian attacks.
- Trade Track (Yellow)
Level 1
Eligible to draw Yellow Progress Cards when the Event Die shows a Yellow Castle.
Level 2
Use the Merchant Trade Ratio (2:1) for any resource/commodity of your choice.
Level 3
You can place the Merchant on the board, earning 1 Victory Point and gaining a 2:1 trade advantage for the hex it's on.
Level 4
Earn 1 Victory Point for upgrading to this level.
Level 5
Claim the Metropolis for Trade, granting 2 Victory Points and making the city immune to barbarian attacks.
