Cannot add friends. Receive a NakamaError saying cannot add user to the group because it’s “full”. Happens when I send the request from me to my friend… or vice versa. They never show up in friends list. Have tried from different iOS devices and doesn’t work from any of them.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I wish they would fix it...so many trolls on this app and when I do come across a friendly player, I would like to add them as a friend. It's the same issue with blocking players: I try to block a toxic player but can't because I get the error message that "the user group is full".
