CU has froze when I placed my first settlement in a game. I closed and then restarted CU but it got stuck on rejoining. Restarting CU, logging out and back in did not let it successfully rejoin the game. Finally I was able to start a new game and exactly the same thing happened again! I'm on Android.

This fixed it for me:
App Cache Clear PC (STEAM)
Close Catan Universe
Press Windows-Key on your keyboard
Type %appdata% and press enter
Windows Explorer will open up
Click on Appdata in the address line
Open the folder LocalLow
Delete the folder United Soft Media Verlag GmbH
Start Catan Universe again

Yeah that's been a problem for me too for a while (at least a month that I have noticed). Really sucks, impossible to play, I had to try other platforms like steam, but I know not everyone has that luxury and it comes with its own set of problems 😂
