Which platform are you playing on @rustic forum ?
For Android/PC Steam there are steps to follow to clear the game's cache/local data files, but for Apple devices there aren't steps for that, the only process is to uninstall/reinstall, which effectively clears those local data files.
If you haven't already, it might be worth trying, or, wait for the upcoming client update that was mentioned in the last announcement and then maybe uninstall it at that point and then install the latest client.
Thank you very much. I had the same issue that was not possible to set the first settlement. I tried to restart the mobile phone ... but only clearing the cache and local data help me fix this issue. Thank you very much for this info.
