Dear Catanians

I have posted few comments regarding the migration being so worse. I don’t regret any of them I am just expressing my opinion about the crappy job the dev team did with this debacle. I have a right to express my opinion and it doesn’t matter who paid what when and why. If you don’t like my opinion go crib some other posts. I am not stopping anyone to share their opinion just don’t do it on my thread. I am sure a lot of people would agree or disagree with me. Those who agree welcome to express your thoughts those who don’t can open their own threads and lick each other.

@tacit wren as I mentioned earlier go to another thread. I am only commenting on those who are against the migration. Seems like you are in support. Good for you. Fondle with the supporters. I did not stop. But if you want to comment on my thread, then you will get responses which you don’t like so better mind your own business and get out of my thread

@knotty niche another fake dev supporter. Dude we paid more than $60 in expansions and base game in past 2 months. Me and my team lost that money and I could not even enjoy for a couple of weeks. I am demanding service which I paid for. You might be 12 years old who has been handed money by sugar daddy or mommy. I earned that money and it doesn’t grow on trees. I want my worth. When it comes to social media if you can’t stand me then go to another thread bro why do you want to mess with me clearly you don’t have anything better to do except fondle the developers

does anybody know what he purpose for the migration was? Old servers were too expensive? Missing features on old servers?

1 in 3 cloud migrations fail and 75% miss their migration deadlines. Poor planning on the Catan Universe team, but cracks me up the level of rage being generated by a phone game being out of service for a few days 😂

@mossy cave not sure what you meant by few days but 11 days is more than a few if it doesn’t bother you then good for you. It bothers me so I spoke out. Hope it’s not too much trouble for you to have to observe me posting something on an open, public and free platform

I do see the humor in this. That said, the outrage is warranted. Maybe 1 in 3 cloud migrations fail (I can't be bothered to verify this) but there are degrees of incompetence. Even before this debacle this company had a track record of failure after failure. I knew they would blow it, again. And yet, they have truly outdone themselves. A paid app has now been unavailable for 10 days, LOL. This is not a "poor job" or "needs improvement", this is a complete and utter Fail like I have never seen.

Their old provider closed shop. It was a migration and switching services, which, as you can tell, can effect a lot of things. They lost key features that were, apparently, fundamental to their poorly written code. It's rare when a company has to make this kind of transition. Having the old provider gone removed the options for rolling back to lore stable code which could have the service continue till the kinks were worked out. They're still responsible for how poorly this is going, but they were also dealt a pretty bad hand.
