@hot arrow same here, I got my Migration Passwort without Problems, but i will change it to my personal one - how can i get this? There ist no "pw change" Button or similar Things.

They didn’t implement a UI for manually changing your password so you just have to reuse the UI for "forgot password" to do a password change. It’s lazy UX but it works once you know to do so & for future reference you'll find the same applies w/ many other sites/apps

This doesn't make sense. Why are emailing people a new password if they could have just asked people to choose "forgot my password" to reset it to a password of your choice. They say you can change the emailed one to whatever you want, but you could have done that even without it. It's not secure to use an emailed password, they don't understand security.

I think that has more to do w/ kicking off a migration script for each user but FWIW when I just tried to reset my password this way it hung so I would recommend everyone just use their migration password until the devs have the server issues resolved
TBH all the comms about this migration & even past updates makes me think the devs are under resourced or in over their heads frankly bc it feels more like by the seat of your pants dev work than professional SW engineering standards
but I only follow this tangentially as I've loyally stuck w/ the original Catan HD app bc I hate that CU devs have refused to offer a simple stack alg for dice for my beloved Cities & Knights out of some weird pro-RNG philosophical position instead of just listening to users who like more skill-based options. It’s all very strange
