☆ Good Pizza Great Pizza — UX/QoL FEEDBACK
—
1. Accessibility settings
• Comfort and convenience in the game for people with specific needs. Many players hold different preferences in general
• Can yield more inclusivity in the game.
• Additions: colourblind friendly visuals, adjustable text size, customizable controls, advanced sound settings, zoom setting for UI size, etc
2. Distinguishing categories in the shop
• Specifically decorative categories — Navigating the shop can lead to confusion when a player is put in another section without notice
• Clear navigation is essential for crucial user experience
• Additions: Different segments of the store labeled with its corresponding category to reduce confusion on where you are in the shop
3. Increasing the pizza boxing animation speed
• The transition from completing a pizza to handing it to the customer can feel unnecessarily slow (+ semi nauseating for me, at least)
• Minimizes an efficient process for players who often grind/play fast.
• Increasing the speed can better gameplay responsiveness.
• Additions: Customizable controls for animation speed (this may be included in the accessibility settings).
4. Order management system
(I may be desperate for a more proficient way to track orders)
• Can overwhelm players to track multiple orders - that is, if game progression becomes more difficult (which suggests this idea may not be necessary unless game difficulty can increase).
• Additions: Visual indicators or order recall feature (prob won't happen but we'll see)
- Another thing, using visual indicators can be a cool addition —because our human brains process movement at around 80-100 milliseconds, you are primarily taking advantage of that ability to process info for a better game performance
