The game In 2015-2017 was basically just the same thing. Nothing changed except the UI looking more like how it does today by 2017.
But after 2017 they really started to make events and new stuff often

I remember in 2017 there was a visual bug where the pizza sometimes went underneath the oven. Also the oven used to have a choppy animation instead
