As an achievement hunter I find it extremely disheartening that I cannot get the achievements without getting rid of all my progress in the game (100+ hours) and starting over. There are two achievements for sure I will never be able to do and two others I'm pretty sure are out of my reach now.

My suggestion (at least for Steam! I don't know if mobile users have the same game achievements but if so them too) is that an option to have an alternate/secondary save is added. This way players don't have to abandon all their hard work and/or investment (money/time/etc) in order to get achievements.

The secondary save could be something unlocked at a later chapter or be different in some way but still allow you to do the storyline in order to unlock missed achievements.

Aye, this makes sense. I mean, even old Nintendo 64 had save slots. I'm thinking of Zelda, for example. It shouldn't be too hard to implement. Right?

I can't imagine it would be an unreasonable amount of work. Especially if mobile users have achievements that match steam... people who pay money for gems will not be excited about the idea of restarting.

How can I do that on steam then for my achievements? Because I have to still use my account - the different save has to be in the game

Making a fake account is.. not really a solution in the long run. It works but an option for more than one save would be better

Plus with all the account data loss issues I'm not sure it is worth the risk

And it leaves the younger group out since they can't use tapblazeID

pretty late reply, but one workaround is that you can use Steam Achievement Manager to unlock these achievements you missed. I normally do that when passing into a broken achievement or one that is not possible anymore.

I know, but I have that "completionist" treat as well and I know how frustrating it could be to miss an achievement forever 😂 so I was just suggesting that solution for the meantime.

When I'm home I'll note which ones I can no longer get. I got the ones for both homeless
