Correct. But I did some digging. That domain is posing to be a bank website at its root right now (don't go there). Correlation, you've caughtsome form of malware on your Shadow.

I’m not comfortable resetting yet because I have important files on my Shadow PC that are not backed up.

Before a reset, can you please attempt non-destructive recovery options, such as GPU / streaming service reattachment
VM repair without disk wipe
Safe Mode startup or shell or repair

I would like to preserve my existing disk data if at all possible.

It’s is mal. So yeah you do have to reset, otherwise contact Shadow support to try and find another solution if your dead set on not resetting. But as they said it’s just better to reset

I mean personally I would just upload everything to my Google drive that I want to keep and factory reset but that's just me? But I do that like once a month? Maybe twice? To make sure I always have my files saved
