There was one time, WAY back, like half a decade or a little more, where someone took VRChat and started editing the code, fixing EVERY issue that VRChat had at the time, bugs, game breaking stuff, making it less prone to crashes, all of that, right? And then sent it over to VRChat, didn't charge them for anything, did it for the love of the game. What did VRChat do?

They banned him from the server AND banned his account.

no, I was able to be in offline mode since the get go. same with last time. you can also manually boot it up even when we're not blacklisted bc it completely skips the eac boot up, hence why you can only be offline.
