Shadow play by the rules and expose itself as a Virtual Machine, but you can actually hide this a bit more by not exposing that (it's still easy to find out, if you know where to look), the issue is last version of EAC blocks VM by default, a lot of cheaters uses VM, this issue happened to a lot of other games "protected" by EAC, so it's in the hand of EAC or game devs to whitelist Shadow... or not.

They have in their email. Theyre looking to get stuff unblocked completely and said they at least promise a good outcome. In their 2026 resolution. Shadow will be fixed for VRChat
On December 22nd 2025 they found a temporary fix. But because of EAC new update (mods literally confirmed) the fix was broken and now they're looking for a long term fix so this doesn't affect us shadow users.
They're just got gonna place a ban down, take it off and place it down again just to not lift it. VRChat wants to solve it, it's just that they're main dev is penny pinching and is selfish. Cause even their own staff uses shadow pc. Shadow and EAC are working together to find a LONG TERM fix.
Everyone that's doubting is basically handing out misinformation here, if you don't got anything nice to say about it then leave it alone.

So if it does take WEEKS or months then that's fine. As long as it gets fixed.

It's good to be optimistic, but also to be equally realistic with some matters.

We can only speculate what has happened, VRC saying one thing, EAC saying another.. All we do know is that Shadow and by proxy you guys are the victims here, and sometimes can only do so much.

As mentioned before, different services. One is Cloud Gaming (Geforce Now) - Closed system, the other (Shadow) Cloud PC - Open system
