The restrictions on the subscription prevent that (20 minute idle timeout).. So, the pay as you go model is the preferred method.

Yeah. With the way VR is processed, you're not actively interacting with the cloud pc like moving the cursor and such. So, it will just idle out and shutdown. He explains it in support docs

you are saying i implied they are doing it on purpose because of some secret vendetta against shadow, i never said that. eac blocks vms BY DEFAULT, vrchat enables eac to run through vms for their percentage of the userbase to be able to play. when eac pushes an update to their clients it most likely turns that setting back on, their timing being pushing new releases before they screw off for the weekend is incompentent. not an intentional attack on shadow nor did i ever say that. YOU were the one who actually implied that vrc was going to abandon the part of its userbase that uses shadow
