SAME HERE
is showing you have BAD really BAD ping...
over 42ms ??? wtf thats good for you?
You should have at least like 32 or max 36ms prob to have medium connection...
What is your country?
What is your ISP provider and country you are connecting from?
What is your shadow location?
I live In United States Of America bro, Have AT&T and i randomly get connection drops it’s not my internet, I’ve tested it on every other device I have its Shadow PC,
so, if you living on mars you continue to falt shadow right..?
We need to understand your ping to shadow...
Did u made the shadow speedtest and it was great? and when u use shadow app it all goes laggy.
If shadow speedtest page shows laggy you need to understand why...
Maybe its to far away... even if shadow servers are in USA.
You continue not detail your issue...
I have minimum 4 questions to ask you...
What city do u live?
What is your shadow Datacenter location you using?
What OS you using to connect?
What the results from speedtest?
If you read the "how to ask for help" post... i could prob answer you something quickly on my first answer...
Now the suppose solution could be answer in 1 month... because you refuse to request for help the right way.
Let me ask you:
Why you just dont create a post here just saying: "help"?
You understand now why no one from shadow support wast their time answer you, right?!
there's literally nothing wrong with the latency
clearly shows theres a stability issue
So either they need to be wired, or their rig can't handle whatever streaming setting they put up.
What???
this is take from official shadow website
Introduction
Your Shadow's settings, your connection, and your device all play a key role in your experience on Shadow. With just a few settings, you can improve your experience on Shadow until it's configured to your satisfaction.
Internet Requirements
Download speeds, upload speeds, and latency can affect your Shadow's stream, including resolution, sound, and input lag. For the best experience, ensure your connection meets the following requirements:
A stable download speed of at least 15Mb/s
An upload speed of 5Mb/s for basic devices, such as a mouse and keyboard
Only 30ms of latency or less
Resolutions higher than 1080p require even faster download speeds, up to 40Mb/s for 4k.
what do u are blind to see?
+ Only 30ms of latency or less
so. if is acceptable,
What we are trying to solve here?
wheres packet loss issue?
dude lit anytning that causes stability issues
i know... but just because he said he got packet loss... then also he said he can not see packet loss as print shows..
yeah i understand something causes stability issues..
in my prespective is because of the 35ms plus..
because i got before those numbers... with bad internet i got..
same thing... after i fix it, issues gone...
now i got 30ms.. 32ms max... no issues at all... nothing to do with shadow... have the same shadow i got since 4 years ago...
so.... if i see higher then 35ms.. i can not use anymore USB share since it will increase stability..
I imagine over 40...
about this...
can u explain why? im curious to know..
I have test this over and over, over the years.. so i know.
if you got 38ms... and trying to use a USB joystick from your pc... you will have a looooooooooot of issues...
just 1 device...
If you dont use any shared device... but having 38ms.. you will get sometimes laggy stuff on inputs and image...
I am just saying 38ms..
only if u dnt use usb forwarding its fine
he never said he could not be able to use shadow
yea, just its not stable
prob js needa get better wifi signal or get wired up
a common fix
yeah.. also @ashen helm use beta app, it shows graphics...
Shadow PC 6 months ago was never this laggy I used to play on 50ms perfectly fine, I come back to shadow to play and I can barley play on 15 ms, it’s shadow not my internet or my local pc
I can literally send a video of wtf is going on and it’s been going on since I bought shadow, it slowed down and became playable for about 3 days, then it just straight freaking lag again after
Ive always used Ethernet and I’ve turned all the connections that’s connected to my internet besides my pc off but its lags the same, no difference, I’ll have 4 devices connected to my internet and it would run fine for them 3 days so its not my internet, I really don’t understand ts bruh, I just wanna play how I normally played, ts is unplayable

@ashen helm i'd recommend downloading and installing the beta client so that you can see the statistics again, and also mentioning which server you're hosted against.
i'm on uspor01 and this evening (right around 5-6pm) i've been getting really bad jitter and packet loss issues to shadow.
as of around mid-2025, i usually see it happening on friday during peak traffic time for the west coast when shadow's data center can't handle the sudden influx of users. it also coincides with a queue for getting an instance spun up, and all of those issues disappear as it gets later into the evening.
should mention that this happens regardless of where (attempts from multiple geographical locations) or what device (multiple various PCs and mobile devices) i connect from, so it's definitely a shadow issue.
i already told you what u need to do... idk wat you want now...
all u said was to download the beta, i did no difference
no, i ask more stuff..
i ask your location and datacenter you are using...
Also.. you have shadow speedtest i need you to do.. but i can not give the link because i need o know wich shadow datacenter u have...
I am not give you 7 links....
and that was the firs questions you didnt answer.i did not ask where street you live...
Also you dont need to tell me where are you from.. just tell me what datacenter are you using..
or search on google... for shadow.tech DATACENTER NAME speedtest
plus to that... do a normal speedtest . net test to your internet...
All those tests do it with ethernet connection to your ISP
Îf you dont have ethernet connection... well, what the heck we are doing here..?
is the same as tryuing to install win11 in a 25 years old computer....
