I do not have access to ethernet in a very practical way
here in-game you can see i have 1 ping
and the quick start menu
I feel like if this cannot run on these network settings for wifi that should be listed
I have the game running lowest settings
for me the whole point of this was not having to have client side requirements
also if it matters, the shadow pc is in washington dc

Your wifi seems good im getting around same numbers and im on ethernet it might be launchers problem go to settings and change the decoder to something else
If that doesn’t work try the shadow beta client

the huge spike was toward the earlier part of the 20 minutes though, like the video is from less than 6 mins ago
when i open the menu it seems to affect the connection alos
like this is running 0 programs
only the menu, fps stays down

I think its a wifi issue somehow cuz i just launched shadow on my laptop with no ethernet and its pretty smooth its not spiking like in your screenshot

I had to setup the whole router in my room to get ethernet to work and get an ethernet to usb c adapter because my laptop doesnt have an ethernet port

kind of ruins the fun of cloud pc to me, like being able to run this from anywhere
a lot of spaces i visit do not have accessible ethernet ports in general

yeah i just got it
ive been off and on trying games out again because of the lag
i have had it for almost 3 weeks and played maybe, the first week and then this last one a couple days

That sucks hope someone else can help in morning but have u tried playing games on geforce now? It has way less delay and lag than shadow

ok so seems to be a bit different
recording causes too much lag in-game so i can't really do that easily. there is some delay but the lag is consistent whereas the other one spiked a lot and was higher lag
the screen also looks worse, hard to explain why that is

contanct support, maybe you get luckly, but unless its proven its their fault they wont refund it pretty sure

Have you tried lowering the bandwidth? And tried deactivating the location services on your Mac? This helped me

Yeah it lowers resolution for less delay go to settings, gameplay then streaming quality mode and set it to performance if u bought performance day pass

That's unfortunate. Because it's a big popup on Mac that says location services being on will cause latency. You may be able to kill AWDL and get improvements.

it will be an issue for every live streaming service, location service need to be off or you need to use ethernet.
