#Latency renders unusable for the last couple of days

You know how to run a traceroute with MTR or Pingplotter?
Nope. Do tell.
Pingplotter. Download it on both sides. Grab your public IP on both your Shadow and local network (whatismyip, etc.)
Local public IP goes in Shadow, Shadow's public IP goes in your local. You can do both sides at the same time.
Then you can see what hop is causing the increase.
And what if it happening at another location ie/ at work?
Diversified routing. Doesn't mean you'll catch the same route from different locations. So troubleshoot the network you're having issues on.
might just be shadow being stupid again it’s happening to i think most people i seen a couple threads on this already and i myself are having this issue too lmao
Yeah, I've literally never had the issue and thought maybe it was my home service. Went to work to try and it and had the exact problem all day. Came home, same issue.
It's happening both places.
If the trace shows it's on the DC side, I can light up the on-call at Shadow and get something done.
Problem is, gotta land a finger on where the issue is. If I had a few bucks for every time it was an overloaded backhaul provider's node, I could probably buy a house.
So yeah, Shadow could absolutely be at fault. I'm not employed by em, but I do like fixing problems.
Help
My god, I run linux on my home computer and this pingplotter cloud is a massive headache. Gonna be a while. lol
I appreciate you trying to help, but even as someone who knows his way around a linux distro, this is ridiculous (the problem and hoops that I have to jump through to find a solution, not your instructions, lol, I appreciate those.). I have 2 gig internet and this is a problem on multiple devices in multiple locations, for multiple people. I pay good money to Shadow to solve these problems, lol.
No skin off my ass. Just trying to help since official support is closed for the day.
I'll wait till enough people complain and they fix it. I'm not equipped or have the patience to do they IT Support for a company I pay money to. lol
You'd think that monitoring would catch something like this across multiple clients tho
I appreciate, man, I really do. lol
