I have been having suddenly severe issues with packet loss on shadow. I currently have an open ticket but they believe the issues is on the end of my isp. I'm not an expert on ping plots or networks by any means, but aren't the main spots of packet loss on their end?

I appreciate any help, and if it is my isp I will contact them shortly.

Im also open to any ideas, no matter how stupid, as this has been happening for a few days now. I want to be able to use my PC again :')

packet loss in shadow is not really network packet loss, but could be linked, you are using wifi or ethernet as first hop seems to indicates already some possible issues

you tested in ethernet directly attached to your home router ?

#

what kind of connection you have ? 5G / FTTH / Coax ?

ftth, unfortunately I am using wifi due to my setup but I have good enough wifi that it hasn't been a problem before.

one hour long call with my isp later, they have no clue what's wrong and gave up by shipping me a replacement router 💀 hopefully that'll fix everything magically

did you try to set up the bitrate manually?

I normally have it set manually, I also tried auto but it didn't get any better

there are some other stuff we could try, i will explain here so when you read this you can try yourself and see if any of this helps.
after doing 1 of the steps, try to see if improve, because if u follow all and the issue is gone we wouldnt know which one helped.

while in your shadow, click the menu (the icon in the top-middle part of the screen) and press simmultaniusly Windows key+alt+i to bring the debug stats.

in the network tab try to set the bitrate manually to 50mbps, try to not set as full even if ur network can handle, we are just troubleshotting.

try network - advance settings - change to TCP

video & display - go down all the way and change the decoder to FFmpeg

if nothing of this works, log in your shadow and click on restart streaming o win key + alt + R wait few seconds to see if is more stable

also if you are using client, try to user Browser, if you are using Browser then try client

#

the rest is to check if there is any task in your pc that are consuming network resources, you might have a torrent / download / update going in the background

#

search in google "Bufferbloat test" and click in the first link from waveform.com do that test and share the results
