#How do i find my windows ip configuration for ipv4
34 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
yes same
i need it because i am running a server script that listens on a specific port and i need to add the windows ipv4 to my host script
I haven't seen this so far. When I do this on my Shadows everything is normal... Have you tried with admin rights?
Or have you changed something for the IP's or DNS?
no port redirection on shadow so doesn't matter to just use local loopback : 127.0.0.1
and so each time you start shadow, it just works instead of changing script each time because IP change each time
there's no wireless on shadow unless you USB forward a wireless device
just explain what you are trying to achieve
so basically i have a host and server python script
the host has a list of ips of vps as i need to control all with random movements, all the server scripts listen on a specific port and the server listens to the commands the host sends
for what purpose you need that ?
just curiosity :)
yeah that.... won't work
it does...
been doing it for 2 weeks
just need to get the vm to listen to the port but im unsure
i have 10 other vps running this script and it works flawlessly, unsure why vm wont work
just let me know if there is anything i can do, or if we can get a wireless ipv4 somehow
well, I'll save you time & money, you can't do that on shadow, you'll get detected and ban within a week as this usage is not compliant with ToS
how so? its just a basic controller/keyboard input python script...
You can read the ToS then you know
okay then i am NOT hosting bo6 lobbies and i am needing it to mimic vps actions to host the same server over multiple pcs
I will let shadow decide this. until then is there anything i can do to fix my issue.
there's just no issue here, it's just basic networking usage
yeah you can contact Shadow support at #support-ticket or #🔗┃links
thank you guys i appreciate it, and i am not too familiar with python or networking so this is all relatively new to me over the last two weeks so bear with me.
i mean, there is the host script doesnt connect.
