As it's the first time using, it might just take a while, leave it for like 10-15 mins on connecting/starting
If after that time it still doesn't connect, go to the Help Panel (?) hit Shutdown, once says Shadow is off, wait a few mins and click start again.. If still no luck, contact Shadow Support, maybe an issue with the initial set up.

If logging out and back in doesn't solve this, you'll need to contact support.
