Your Shadow has to be offline to make a reset. The message appears mostly when the Shadow is still online while you try to reset
But yeah the message could be optimized

shutdown your shadow before resetting it
it won't reset to factory settings if you try to do it whilst it's running
this happened to me and shutting it down first solved the problem

i update to W11 and wanted to return it and thought this will help i hope im right

Indeed this will go back to Win 10.. So updating to Win 11 made your Shadow not work?
