Quick menu statistics show your connection status. Try using a lower bandwidth to see if this reduces packet loss. You can also switch to TCP mode, but this will increase latency

#

What's your Shadow datacenter ? You can find out in the launcher help menu

Quick menu > network > bitrate

#

Lower it to what?

#

I lowered it to 48 and here’s the packet loss

whole mica
#

10Mbps ? Just to see if it helps

true falcon
#

This is 10

whole mica
#

Have you checked which datacenter you're in ? You'll have to go back to the launcher for that

this what I got

Jitter is pretty bad

#

Ethernet ? WiFi ?

true falcon
#

Ethernet

#

It’s 1.5G speed

#

It’s legit fast for everything else atm

#

And it was okay all day long until the last 2 hours

#

Just started messing up outta knowhere

whole mica
#

There are no reported incidents on Shadow's side

true falcon
#

It just makes no sense cause the rest of my devices are fine and working the way they’re supposed to be

#

And so was this one all day long

#

I’ve tried restarting both routers and my pc to no avail

You might not always notice the instability, depending on what you're doing. Shadow is real-time streaming

#

For example, with YouTube, there's buffering, so if the connection gets briefly unstable, it’s not noticeable. But with Shadow, you notice it immediately

true falcon
#

Well lowering the bit rate seems to have worked for the time being

#

It’s still a little laggy, but not as bad

#

And it looks fuzzy, but it’s better then nothing xD

whole mica
#

You can't see, but it's fluid 😁

#

Try increasing the bitrate gradually, and see how far you can go before it becomes too unstable

I keep metrics on all the datacenters from Kansas. Seeing a little more fluctuation than normal, but nothing that would cause the 1+ second pings that you're experiencing.
