Keeps popping up since months to everyone. You just get disconnected mid-session and you can't reconnect to the FKNG shadow, and guess what? You lose all your unsaved work.
Get you FKNG shi3t togheter. First you get our data stolen, now this.

I have some damned unsaved code and I got kicked, out of the blue and I can't reconnect.
Now after 10 minutes that i restarted the client and tried to reconnect to the current session, i still got everytime the damned R-116.
Now the time has run out and shadow is turning off

after rebooting the whole shadow (AND LOSING ALL THE WORK) it still gives that crap R-116

Hi, the only fix im aware of for R-116 is that you need to close and open shadow again, forcing a shut down of the VM. Then you should log back in and it should work fine again.

Yes, logging off and closing the app. SO after you open again the App you should be redirected to your browser and login again, all automated
what logging off should change? looks like one of those "reboot windows to fix" solution
the things solves by itself after some hours, god knows why, meanwhile I'm effectively and actually inhibited from using the product I'm paying for

Honestly we manage a few products (ERP, CMR and stuff) and if we managed them like shadow is managing it our customer would have already kicked our face out of the project
Would you try to unistall it and download a clear shadow again? or try the beta one? sometimes the beta works better for some people

already gone through support a few times for other support and like 20% of the times they've been useful
Well they will know that there is a probelm and try to fix it so YOU or whoever will not have to deal withe the problem again

Anyway i will not force you to follow any step said before, but i just suggest you to try and see if it helps fixing. Maybe you got a corrupted file, who knows. I f you do not try you will not know
Fixing problems works if customers reports them. But anyway feel free to ask or ping up if need anything more or just want to add details to this convo

As you can see the only factor is time. Probably they have too much usage of hardware and cut off some people

(Obviously not saying it’s your fault just to be clear, they have to solve it. But if it’s not reported enough they may not even have it in their radar)
I'm going through the same problem as @fervent iris, I try to open my shadow and what it always shows is this error...
You try 80 times to connect and it simply DOES NOT connect at all.
I had the same today. Close the app, reopen it and it'll ask you the username and password again probs
No solution and no f.... are given for now. only solution is to wait an hour or two and get back to it
my main suspicion is that they allot more hardware than they have, kinda like hotels overbook reservations. When you arrive late to the party and all hadware is taken by other users you get that error, that is conveniently undocumented on their help pages

You don’t get an error message when there’s no space left @fervent iris. You get in a waiting queue (that shows how long you’ll probably have to wait) kinda like when you try to buy a ticket for an artist in Ticketmaster

I'm also having this issue and have been for a while. Just randomly kicks me off while I'm trying to play my game. Just lost a project zomboid character because of it and I'm pretty steamed. I just get kicked off randomly and given the error 116 and I found no information about this error provided on the website. Kinda crazy how the shadow application can just tell me 'no' and kick me off when I need it to be reliable. Are there any fixes? I'm really tired of this. My wifi never gives me issues with anything else, I've only ever had issues with shadow.

yea kinda seems like they don't really care about the issues that we're having. Quite a shame since I'm paying for the most expensive pc available.
I am also paying for the most expensive but that does not matter, An issue is an issue and needs fixing.
