For about a week I've been running into an issue where I receive a driver error with the title Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). This happens on several different devices, when it occurs I can't get any device to conect until the issue resolves. I've attempted the following things with limited success, but nothing I'd deem "repeatable":

Reboot Shadow PC and host client (Steam Deck in my case); wait 10 minutes before rebooting Shadow PC
Update Shadow PC and host client
Remove forwarded devices, and re-enable them
Disable device -> Refresh -> Enable device within Windows Device Manager
Hard reset Shadow PC
Swap from Beta -> Official -> back to Beta
Sit in the corner crying while praying to the electronic gods

I've gotten the reboot and waiting 10 minutes to work twice, but it isn't consistant; so I wouldn't call it repeatable success.

I appreciate any assistance or advice that you can provide, thank you.

post your quickmenu stats, make sure latency <30ms, try to "clear device list" in shadow launcher

Shadow support said something about critical services not being installed on the hosting server and that they pushed an update to my VM.... but it's been updating for 30 minutes now with no progress. Let me grab that email real quick

I have just powered down your Shadow, so please allow about 20 minutes for your Shadow to restart.
 
After the 20 minutes, could you please try logging on to your Shadow again and let me know if you are able to access it and connect USB devices normally?```

ha ok, support is using official version, you should try that

there's no much benefits of using beta those days anyway

you should be able to properly use USB on official

#

may just need to uninstall USB driver from beta version, reboot, install USB driver on official, start shadow

Okay good to know, I know last we talked you said that the repackage you mentioned that your rework of shadowusb required the beta version

@tranquil lotus Out of curiousity, have you tested your ShadowUSB package on Win11? Interestingly, seems Win10 works... but the minute I move to Win11 compatibility breaks

Was a fluke... I'm about to give up and go back to ZeroTier and VirtualHere. Support referred me to your build but I'm getting the same error on the VM itself.
