Hello, I currently have no sound at all when using ShadowPC. I have a USB Logitech G Pro X that works just fine on my hosting laptop. However whenever I launch Shadow, I get no sound.

I have tried switching between the 2 audio devices listed by Windows ("Digital output NVIDIA HD audio" and Shadow Virtual speaker), tried switching between high quality audio and regular audio in launcher settings, installed and uninstalled drivers in the USB forwarding section before rebooting my hosting laptop both times, nothing worked.

I have gotten confirmation via Discord settings that my Shadow does detect my mic input through my Logitech input device, however I cannot hear at all.

I would like to re-emphasize the fact that my audio is fine on the host PC. Does anyone have a fix ? I'm running out of ideas

Additional information: yes I have a quality, wired internet connection and the data center I am connected to is about 5 subway stations away from my appartment. Video streaming is fine aswell.
I am running Windows 10 64 bits and also use a USB Logitech mouse that works just fine.

Bare in mind this is community assistance and it's the weekend..

However, with audio and Shadow.. It will come out what ever is the local default playback device. Also check the Shadow application in Sound Mixer on laptop isn't turned down.

Also if you're using USB forwarding, have you tried it without? Sound over USB forwarding is finicky.

My default playback device on my local hosting PC is my Logitech headset, and Shadow Virtual Speaker when using Shadow.

I know that my Shadow application's volume in sound mixer isn't turned down due to the fact that I can hear fine when I unplug my headset. Shadow plays sound through my laptop's speakers.

My USB forwarding was already turned off by default before the issue arose. I have tried enabling it to see if it would fix the problem, it didn't, so I turned it off again (rebooting my hosting laptop both times) and it didn't change anything.

Trey disabling your haut parleurs? I have that kind of problems all the time (not necessarily on shadow)

#

Also make sure that on your Logitech if you double click on it on your screenshot that both « let my pc turn off this device » is off
And that « let an application prioritize this device » (or something like that) is turned off

I've disabled "haut parleurs" on both my laptop on shadow, double checked that the two options you cited were off, but it didn't help unfortunately

After some testing I've managed to get the headset sort of working using USB forwarding, but as Pip said it's finicky. The audio is muffled and randomly cuts off, so it's not a viable option either
